If you’ve noticed that Fruity Pebbles cereal is suddenly trending online and you’re wondering why, we’ve got answers and it all revolves around “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”

Fans of the hit reality show probably remember the reference to the cereal in Season 1, but no explanation was ever given. Now that there’s serious beef between Demi Engemann and Jessi Ngatikaura, the truth is coming out and you might not be ready to hear it.

Viewers of the reality show might remember a scene in Season 1 where Demi told the other MomTok moms about a NSFW moment that involved her husband, Bret Engemann, and Fruity Pebbles. But not much else was said or even insinuated about the situation so viewers were left to try to just figure out possible scenarios on their own. (We bet no one actually thought this would be the story!)

Fast forward to Season 3, a rift between once besties Demi and Jessi has escalated to a place where secrets are being spilled and let’s just say…no one was expecting this.

After some serious bickering back and forth between Jessi and Demi over Marciano Brunette from “Vanderpump Villa” and just what happened between all of them, the battle really heated up.

Jessi said in a video that she’s “loving this Demi crash-out era right now,” after Demi said Jessi was jealous of Lisa Vanderpump talking about her. Jessi rebutted, “Her saying something like this is laughable because genuinely would never be jealous of someone saying these things Lisa’s saying about her.”

And then the truth bomb was dropped.

It didn’t take long before the internet began buzzing about the “pee” that Jessi dropped online. TikToker @stephwithdadeets didn’t waste any time sharing a video explaining the situation.

“If you ever wondered what Fruity Pebbles was all about in ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,’ well today’s your lucky day. Well, not so lucky day because I am really disgusted right now,” Steph said. “Gotta say, I do love petty Jessi because she gives us a lot of tea.”

She then shared the clips that started this part of the war between Jessi and Demi before sharing the real meaning behind Fruity Pebbles on the show.

“Ew,” Steph said, which probably mirrors everyone else’s reaction to hearing this news. Steph then shared the clip of Jessi explaining Fruity Pebbles.

Shortly after the big reveal happened from Jessi, Demi took to TikTok to play into the news.

Captioning her video, “Anyway,” Demi and Bret jump into the news headfirst, and the comments didn’t disappoint.
