    Re: “Nix cynical GOP proposal to sell western public lands” (June 25, Opinion):

    Since “public lands” were originally the domain of Indigenous peoples, how about if we turn their management over to the tribes? This would resolve many issues and also “fund tax cuts,” as proposed by Senate Republicans.

    It would provide income for the tribes (positive), tax moneys for the federal government (positive) and remedy the staffing cuts implemented by the Department of Government Efficiency.
