Meghan Markle Turns Heads For Her First Ever Paris Fashion Week Outing

Meghan Markle made her Paris Fashion Week debut, attending the Balenciaga show in support of new Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli, with whom she shares a long design history.

Meghan Markle’s return to the global fashion stage comes just before she and Prince Harry travel to New York.

Meghan stepped into the fashion spotlight on Saturday, October 4, making her first-ever appearance at Paris Fashion Week.

The duchess, 44, attended the Balenciaga runway show, turning heads in a sleek monochrome look, layering an oversized white cape over a crisp button-down and finishing the outfit with black pointed stilettos.

The Montecito-based royal opted to style her hair in a slicked-back bun, which highlighted her flawless face.

Fans quickly flocked to social media to share their thoughts on Meghan’s stylish look, with many praising the Duchess of Sussex.

According to her team, Meghan’s attendance was a gesture of support for Pierpaolo Piccioli, who recently assumed the role of Creative Director at Balenciaga.

Meghan and Piccioli reportedly share a long-standing relationship, with Piccioli having designed for several of Meghan’s significant public appearances over the years.

“Over the years, the Duchess has worn several designs by Pierpaolo. They have worked closely together, collaborating on design for key moments on the world stage,” the spokesperson explained, per People Magazine.

Although it was her first time at Paris Fashion Week, Meghan is no stranger to the fashion circuit.

Before her royal life, she regularly attended New York and Toronto Fashion Weeks during her “Suits” years, from 2013 to 2015.

Since stepping back from her senior royal duties with Prince Harry in 2020, she has continued to command attention on red carpets, though the fashion week stage had remained absent from her calendar until now.

Her style evolution has mirrored her journey through different stages of life. Now a Montecito-based mother to Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, Meghan continues to balance luxury with conscious choices.

Meghan’s return to the global fashion stage comes just ahead of another major moment. Next week, she and Harry will travel to New York City to accept Project Healthy Minds’ Humanitarians of the Year Award at the nonprofit’s World Mental Health Day Gala on Thursday, October 9.

The honor recognizes the couple’s advocacy for online safety for families and young people, as well as their broader commitment to mental well-being.
