Kelly Clarkson is no stranger to speaking her mind, but her latest onstage moment is going viral for all the right reasons. During her “Studio Sessions” show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Saturday night, the Grammy-winning singer and talk show host opened up about one of the most shocking and sexist comments she’s ever received in her career. The “Since U Been Gone” hitmaker, known for her powerhouse voice and down-to-earth personality, reflected on the pressures of Hollywood’s beauty standards and the unrealistic expectations placed on women in the industry. Clarkson reminded fans that she’s proud of who she is, and that no amount of industry “advice” could ever change that. Her candid story has since gone viral across social media, with fans praising her for her honesty and sense of humor. It’s yet another example of Clarkson using her platform to call out double standards, embrace body confidence, and champion authenticity, something she’s been doing throughout her decades-long career.

While joking about her low-cut outfit, Clarkson shocked fans when she revealed a jaw-dropping memory from her past. “I had a d-ck manager once tell me to get a boob job!” she shared, per TMZ.

The crowd audibly gasped, only for Kelly to fire back with what might be one of the greatest comebacks in pop history. “I told him he should get a d-ck job!” she recalled.

From there, the Stronger singer made it clear she’s always been happy with her natural self, telling fans, “I’ve always been happy with my itty-bitty titties.”

She also took a jab at Hollywood’s obsession with looking ageless, joking, “Everyone looks like they’re the villains in ‘The Hunger Games,’ acting like it’s windy every day with those tight faces.”

While Kelly Clarkson didn’t name names during her onstage confession, fans immediately connected the dots, recalling her former manager and ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.

Blackstock, who managed Clarkson through his family’s company Starstruck Management Group from 2017 to 2020, has long been at the center of both her professional and personal struggles. The pair’s high-profile divorce in 2020 led to a heated legal dispute over management commissions and contractual violations.

In 2022, a California labor commissioner ruled that Starstruck Management had violated the state’s Talent Agencies Act, as the company was not legally licensed to procure employment for Clarkson. The court ordered Blackstock and his team to repay Kelly more than $2.6 million in improperly collected commissions.

The decision marked a major victory for Clarkson, who has since been candid about reclaiming control of her life and career following the split.

In a tragic update, Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband and former manager, Brandon Blackstock, passed away at the age of 48 after a three-year battle with melanoma. According to Dan Hollis, the Butte-Silver Bow County coroner in Montana, Blackstock’s cause of death was natural and directly linked to melanoma. Hollis confirmed that Blackstock died at his home in Butte, Montana, on August 7, surrounded by loved ones.

In a statement shared by the Blackstock family, they revealed that Brandon had “bravely battled cancer for more than three years” and ultimately “died peacefully,” emphasizing that he was “surrounded by family” in his final moments.

Melanoma, the most serious form of skin cancer, begins in the melanocytes, the cells responsible for producing melanin, which gives skin its pigment. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) notes that the disease is often linked to overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays, whether from the sun, tanning beds, or artificial light sources.
