    Nikoosh Carlo makes many valid points about climate change mitigation (“It’s time to do a 180 in our thinking about the climate crisis,” Dec. 24, Opinion).

    But, like most opinion pieces about this issue, the writer does not discuss overpopulation and overconsumption nor advocate engendering one or fewer children per adult over the next 100 years.

    As oceans rise and deserts grow larger, to where will the displaced people migrate? There is no mention of this conundrum in the op-ed.
