Aimee Osbourne Ditches Lowkey Life In Honor Of Ozzy Osbourne

The entertainer who has lived within the shadows despite her family’s fame and status has recently broken character. She has gone for years, noticeably absent at events, social gatherings, and even on the family’s TV reality show, but has now put these aside to honor her father.

Ozzy Osbourne passed away last year in July after a heart attack, and he previously battled other health issues, including Parkinson’s. He had six children, three of whom, including Aimee Osbourne, he welcomed with his long-time partner, Sharon Osbourne.

Aimee, who is rarely seen, turned up with the family at the Grammys this year to honor her late dad, Ozzy. She was seen inside the ceremony sitting at a table with her mom and brother, Jack. The entertainer sat next to her rumored lover, Wes Leavins.

The 42-year-old was clad in a black off-shoulder dress and wore a faint smile as she posed for a group family photo at the table featuring her mom and Jack. Aimee did not take any pictures with her family on the red carpet.

On July 22, 2025, Ozzy died following a heart attack at the age of 76. Aimee filed the death certificate at a registry in London on which the cause of death was listed as “out of hospital cardiac arrest, coronary artery disease, and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction.”

Even before Ozzy’s passing, Aimee had been leading a very private life, having moved out of her parents’ house at 16 years old to avoid the cameras. Page Six shared that her brother Jack admitted to their dysfunctional relationship, stating that they were estranged.

Jack spoke on his non-existent relationship with his sister on an episode of the “Disrespectfully” Podcast. He did not shy away from admitting the status of things with his older sister after she decided not to be part of their MTV reality show, “The Osbournes”.

The 40-year-old stated that they were not close at all and that it was not a secret, revealing that Aimee also agrees with him. In his words, “We don’t have a great relationship.” He then shed more light on her decision to be away from the cameras.

According to Jack, at that time, his sister wanted to be an “obscure, mysterious, moody” musician, so appearing on “The Osbournes” wouldn’t have aligned with that image. Her perception of doing the MTV show was that it was a low-hanging fruit, and she wanted something bigger for herself. 

After the show became successful and popular, she did not think it wise to join, as it would seem as though she was jumping on the bandwagon, Jack shared. Therefore, she went on, maintaining her private life.

At the Sunday night Grammys,  the Recording Academy paid tribute to those who died last year in the Memoriam segment. D’Angelo, Brian Wilson, and Ozzy Osbourne were among the honored artists.

The set of musicians who honored Ozzy were Post Malone, Slash, Andrew Watt, Duff McKagan, and famous drummer Chad Smith. They performed a rendition of “War Pigs” by Ozzy’s former band Black Sabbath in his honor.

PEOPLE shared that during their performance, members of the iconic artist’s family were visibly moved with emotion. At the end, Ozzy’s wife Sharon and kids Kelly and Jack were captured with tears in their eyes as they clapped.

Even though Aimee had been estranged from her family, her love for them never withered. During her father’s last days, she reportedly traveled from L.A. to the U.K to spend time with her dad.

The actress was present at the funeral procession in Birmingham, and The Blast reports that she, along with her siblings, paid full respect to their father with purple flowers. Aimee was clad fit to the occasion in an all-black jacket and pant suit outfit sealed with a black veil and beret.

She laid a touch of the Blizzard Of Oz’s signature colour with a purple top underneath her jacket. Her face was laden with sadness as she walked with the rest of the family to complete the funeral rites.
