Schwarzenegger’s residence in LA was the target of a prank call on Thanksgiving Day, prompting a large police response.

The call falsely claimed that a bomb had been placed in the former governor’s mailbox, leading the LAPD to rush to the scene.

However, after inspecting the mailbox and surrounding area, officers found no explosive device.

According to the Daily Mail, the actor’s security team also informed the police that with his extensive surveillance and around-the-clock protection, it would be “virtually impossible” to plant a bomb.

Authorities are treating the situation as “swatting,” where pranksters make fake emergency calls to provoke a heavy police presence.

The Actor Spreads Holiday Cheer By Donating Turkeys In Los Angeles

Before the Thanksgiving holiday, Schwarzenegger was spotted giving back to the community as he distributed turkeys in Los Angeles on Tuesday, November 26.

The “Terminator” star, in high spirits, visited the Hollenbeck Youth Center, where he greeted families.

In an interview with Fox 11, Schwarzenegger shared his thoughts on service, stating, “Giving back, to me, is everything.”

On stage, he reminisced about his first visit to Boyle Heights 43 years ago, when he donated turkeys at the center.

“I had such a great time. It made me feel so good, that every year since then, I’ve been doing this. To me, it’s a great, great pleasure to donate the turkeys again… because I know this whole season is about sharing,” the actor said.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Discussed Aging As A Bodybuilder

Last year, during an appearance on “The Howard Stern Show,” Schwarzenegger opened up about the challenges of aging and his dissatisfaction with his body’s changes.

He told show host Howard Stern: “I kind of smile because every day I look in a mirror and say, ‘Yeah, you suck.’ Look at this body. Look at those pectoral muscles that used to be firm, perky, and really powerful with a striation. Now they’re just hanging there. I mean, what the hell is going on here?”

He continued on the radio, “It’s sad also because, as I said to people, it’s one thing to see yourself get older and more and more out of shape, but most of the people have never been in shape, so what does it mean getting out of shape?”:

Schwarzenegger added. “They’ve always looked at the sh-tty body, so therefore, it gets sh-tty as time goes on.”

The Iconic Actor Admits It ‘Sucks’ Growing Old And Losing The ‘Supreme Body’

The 77-year-old bodybuilding legend first mentioned his dissatisfaction with his body in his book, “Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life,” where he expressed a mix of humor and sadness about aging.

Schwarzenegger elaborated on how he never anticipated seeing his body as it is now, noting that although it is “better than a majority of bodies,” it “sucks” to see how much it has changed.

While speaking to Stern, he said, “It’s just when you have been hailed for years as this supreme body, and you have the definition, and you see the veins coming down your abs, and you see veins on top of your chest — you see all this stuff, and then now you cut, and you roll the clock forward 50 years, and now you’re standing there, and you don’t see that anymore.”

“So that’s kind of like, wow, I never, ever thought about that when I was like 30 or 40 years old, that this is going to happen, that one time we’re going to look at this body, and it still looks better than a majority of bodies, but I mean, it just sucks,” the former Governor of California noted

Last year, Schwarzenegger shared his views on the afterlife during an in-depth conversation with Interview Magazine.

When fellow actor Danny Devito asked, “What’s in the future for us,” Schwarzenegger responded with a surprising perspective.

“It reminds me of Howard Stern’s question to me. ‘Tell me, governor, what happens to us when we die?’ I said, ‘Nothing. You’re 6 feet under. Anyone that tells you something else is a f-cking liar,'” he said.

Schwarzenegger added, “I said, ‘We don’t know what happens with the soul and all this spiritual stuff that I’m not an expert in, but I know that the body as we see each other now, we will never see each other again like that.'”

The actor, who has been open about his Catholic upbringing, explained that death is a topic he’s uncomfortable with and Heaven, in his mind, is a “fantasy.”
