And since her return to the WNBA in 2022 to take over the Las Vegas Aces, Hammon has put together a resume that already has her established as one of the greatest and most accomplished coaches in league history. She enhanced her career coaching resume even more on Monday night.
Becky Hammon moved up the WNBA’s all-time wins list on Monday
The Aces latest dominant win, a 109-83 victory over the Toronto Tempo, propelled Hammon up an important all-time list.
She moved out of a three-way tie with Richie Adubato and Pokey Chatman to claim sole possession of 13th place on the WNBA’s career wins list. Hammon now owns 135 wins. She’s five wins away from cracking the top 12.
Hammon has won over 75% of her games as a head coach
In the middle of just her fifth season at the helm, Hammon has won an at an eye-popping .757% clip (135 out of 185 games) to this point. And she’s accomplished far more than rack up regular wins, too.
