Jordon Hudson, the girlfriend of former NFL coach Bill Belichick, is embracing the “gold digger” label that has plagued her relationship.

Reports have emerged that she filed to trademark the tag via her LLC, TCE Rights Management.

The revelation comes days after Jordon Hudson was spotted enjoying a night out with Bill Belichick at a restaurant close to UNC, the institution whose football team Belichick currently coaches.

Instead of shying away from the “gold digger” chatter surrounding her age-gap relationship, Jordon Hudson is leaning all the way in.

According to records obtained by TMZ, she filed to trademark the term on August 25 under one of her companies, TCE Rights Management LLC.

At the moment, the trademark application has been accepted, having met the minimum filing requirements.

However, it has yet to be assigned to an examining attorney, who will evaluate the application against legal standards, including distinctiveness, potential conflicts, and more.

The process of registering a trademark is expected to take between 12 to 18 months, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s website.

During the process, Hudson may be issued a letter (office action), requiring her to correct any deficiencies in her application within three months of the issue date.

Alternatively, she may also receive a notice indicating that her trademark cannot be registered, along with substantive reasons for the refusal.

Earlier in the year, Hudson’s company also filed trademarks for other phrases such as All-Belichick Team, Chapel Bill, The Belichick Way, and Dynasty (Bill’s Version).

While it is unclear why she sought to trademark those earlier phrases, her recent filing for “Gold Digger” is reportedly intended for use on jewelry and trinkets.

Industry watchers believe Hudson’s filing could pave the way for a jewelry line, much like WNBA star Angel Reese’s pivot with the “mebounds” phrase, which started as an online taunt but evolved into a thriving merchandise brand.

For now, Hudson has not disclosed specific details about her plans for the “Gold Digger” label if the trademark is approved.

However, this could also prove to be another successful business venture for the former cheerleader, much like her multi-million-dollar real estate portfolio.

Regarding her real estate portfolio, reports emerged in April that it is worth approximately $8 million and was acquired by Hudson within months of her meeting with Belichick.

According to the Daily Mail, some of the properties include three multi-family homes in the Boston area. The 24-year-old made the purchases around December 2023, using mortgages that have all since been paid off.

She is also listed as the owner of a cottage in the scenic Cape Cod town of Harwich, which cost around $610,000.

Several of the properties have been converted into rental apartments for students, with some fetching as much as $5,000 per month in rent.

At the time, it also emerged that Hudson had set up 18 companies since the start of her relationship with the legend coach.

Some of the entities were revealed to have been crucial in helping her acquire properties, while others appeared to be tailored toward managing Belichick’s rights and image.

Despite the controversy surrounding Belichick and Hudson’s relationship, the duo has not shied away from flaunting it in public.

Most recently, they were spotted on a date night at the Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill, located near the University of North Carolina campus.

According to photos obtained by TMZ, the couple opted for a casual but classic look that suited the occasion.

Belichick wore a checkered dress shirt tucked into his jeans and secured with a belt. Meanwhile, Hudson chose an all-white outfit consisting of a sleeveless top and loose-fitting trousers that swept the floor.

After finishing their meal, the two strolled the streets hand in hand, with Hudson sporting a wide grin while Belichick showed a little smile.

Up next for the couple is Belichick’s debut as a college football coach on September 1. The former NFL coach will lead the Tar Heels against the TCU Horned Frogs at Kenan Stadium, Chapel Hill.
