Blake Lively Raises Questions After Fans Notice She Ditched Her Wedding Ring

Blake Lively is speaking out, but fans are just as focused on what she wasn’t wearing as what she had to say.

The 37-year-old actress made her first talk show appearance since her explosive legal feud with Justin Baldoni began last December, sitting down with Seth Meyers on Thursday night’s “Late Night.”

And while Blake Lively addressed what she called the “highest of highs and the lowest of lows” this past year, viewers zeroed in on a baffling detail.

Her wedding ring was MIA, raising questions regarding her family life.

Instead, the “Gossip Girl” alum rocked a large cocktail ring on the middle finger of her left hand, sparking fresh speculation about trouble in paradise with husband Ryan Reynolds. While Lively has previously been known to skip her wedding ring in favor of bold fashion statements, the timing had fans raising eyebrows.

“Is no one going to talk about Blake not wearing her wedding ring??” one fan wrote in a social media post during the episode.

Lively, who shares four children with Reynolds, briefly addressed her turbulent year, which has been dominated by headlines surrounding her legal battle with “It Ends With Us” director and co-star Baldoni, whom she has accused of sexual harassment.

When Meyers alluded to the controversy, saying, “I imagine you’re in a situation where you can’t say anything,” Blake responded carefully but powerfully.

“What I can say without going too into it is that this year has been the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in my life,” she said. “I see so many women around afraid to speak, especially right now, afraid to share their experiences, and fear is by design. It’s what keeps us silent.”

She added, “I also acknowledge that many people don’t have the opportunity to speak. So I do feel fortunate that I’ve been able to… That’s kept me strong and helped me in my belief and my fight for the world to be safer for women and girls. It’s a pretty simple thing.”

The Lively-Baldoni case is set to go to trial in March 2026, but Blake made it clear her top priority is, and always has been, her family.

“It’s no surprise it’s been a pretty intense year and they’re just my lifeline,” she told Seth. “No matter what day I am having, I have to be Disneyland for them. It’s the best, it’s chaos.”

While she may not have been wearing it during her most recent public appearance, her engagement ring has been a hot topic ever since Reynolds got down on one knee.
