For Brooke Hogan, the sale of her late father’s Florida mansion is about far more than a multimillion-dollar property changing hands.
The house holds memories of ordinary family moments, years of caring for a wrestling legend through serious health struggles, and the final chapter of their time together.
Now that the home has been sold, Brooke has directed a furious message at people she believes benefited from her father’s fame, accusing them of turning his legacy into a payday.
Brooke Hogan Accused Those Close To Hulk Hogan Of Profiting From His Legacy
The sale of Hulk Hogan’s Clearwater Beach mansion prompted Brooke Hogan to revisit what she believed the people around her father had taken from him, even after his death.
Sharing an image of the property on her Instagram Stories with a prominent “SOLD” sticker, she expressed the pain of watching the home leave the family’s hands.
“The sick feeling is indescribable,” the TV personality wrote per the Daily Mail.
The beachfront property, measuring approximately 5,400 square feet, had been listed in January for nearly $11 million before selling for $5.9 million.
A neighboring guest cottage also changed hands for $2.8 million. However, while the transactions involved millions of dollars, Brooke’s reaction centered on what she felt the property represented and who stood to benefit from its sale.
She accused people who had been close to her father of exploiting his name and circumstances for personal gain. Her anger became especially pointed in another Instagram post, where she wrote, “Enjoy your dirty money. You took my dad.”
Brooke also challenged the idea that fame necessarily meant someone had a dependable support system. She argued that people were willing to appear when there was something to gain from Hulk’s celebrity, rather than when he genuinely needed them.
“Apparently EVERYONE will show up at the end if you’re famous enough and they can profit off your demise,” she wrote.
Brooke Remembers The Family Moments That Made The Mansion Home

The emotional weight behind Brooke Hogan’s anger came from the life she remembered inside the property, not simply its financial value.
The singer described years of sharing the home with her father and Jennifer McDaniel, Hulk’s former wife, whom he married in 2010 and divorced in 2021.
Her memories were strikingly ordinary for a family associated with professional wrestling and celebrity. They cooked together, watched television, played music, and cried. Those moments, Brooke suggested, were what made the property irreplaceable to her.
“I walked in that garage every visit and hugged him right when he’d open the garage door. I’d sit next to him for hours in the chair he died in,” she continued.
Brooke said she and McDaniel had also helped care for Hulk through repeated health challenges, including back surgeries and knee and hip replacements. Those years of caregiving informed her criticism of people she believed had not shown the same level of commitment.
“Apparently EVERYONE will show up at the end if you’re famous enough and they can profit off your demise,” she concluded.
Brooke Hogan Clarified Her Criticism Was Directed At Friends And Family

Brooke’s accusations raised questions about whom she believed had taken advantage of Hulk, but she later clarified that her anger was not aimed at WWE wrestlers.
Instead, she said she was referring to specific friends and family members whom she believed had used her father’s fame for their own benefit.
Speaking to Us Magazine, the 38-year-old explained why the mansion’s sale had affected her so deeply.
“There’s something deeply unsettling about watching a person’s life and memories reduced to transactions,” she said.
Brooke continued by contrasting the emotional meaning of a family home with the financial opportunities others might see in it. According to her, “Some people see a home filled with history and love. Others simply see what it’s worth.”
Brooke added that people’s behavior when they no longer stood to gain from someone could reveal how they had valued that person in life.

Brooke Detailed The Family Betrayal Behind Her Broken Relationships

The anger Brooke Hogan expressed over her late father’s mansion sale reflected a much deeper fracture within the family, one that extended beyond disagreements over money or property.
In a September interview with Us Magazine, Brooke described years of strained relationships, particularly with her brother, Nick Hogan, and mother, Linda Hogan.
She also challenged the public image of family unity that had followed them throughout their reality television careers.
“A collection of happy photographs isn’t necessarily the same thing as a healthy family dynamic,” the “About Us” singer explained, adding, “I feel like my life was The Truman Show. [But] when the cameras stopped rolling, the masks stayed on.”
Her relationship with Nick had become particularly painful. When he publicly described himself as being proud of his sister, Brooke objected to the suggestion that they were on good terms.
“We are not in communication, and his characterization of our relationship does not reflect my experience,” she told the magazine.
The conflict also involved their father’s personal belongings. Brooke recalled asking Nick for one of Hulk’s crosses after his death, hoping to keep something meaningful.
Although Nick gave her two crosses, she said neither was one she recognized as something their father regularly wore.
Brooke Hogan Regretted Leaving Hulk’s Will Over Safety Fears

The breakdown in Brooke’s family relationships also shaped a consequential decision concerning her father’s estate.
During an April 2026 appearance on the “Hollywood Raw Podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn,” she explained why she had voluntarily removed herself from Hulk’s will in 2023. Her decision, she said, stemmed from fear and distrust rather than a lack of interest in her father’s affairs.
“There were situations that had me so scared,” Brooke admitted. “I really took myself off the will because I was actually scared for myself, my family, my safety.”
She also explained that she had wanted to avoid becoming embroiled in a family dispute over money. Her concerns were rooted in what she had witnessed within the family, including years of legal battles involving her father.
At the time, Brooke believed distancing herself from the estate was the safest choice. However, Hulk’s death left her confronting an unintended consequence: she no longer had a formal place in decisions concerning his estate and legacy.
“I regret that decision. Not because of the money – I’ve never been about the money – but because now I don’t have a seat at the table,” she revealed.
