Celtics fans can breathe a sigh of relief after Brad Stevens news

Brad Stevens has been with the Boston Celtics since 2013. He spent eight seasons as the franchise’s head coach, accumulating a 354-282 regular-season record. He also won 38 of his 70 postseason games.

Since 2021, Stevens has overseen the Celtics organization from a front-office role. He replaced Danny Ainge as Boston’s president of basketball operations. Stevens constructed the roster that won the 2024 NBA championship.

However, despite his success with the Celtics and his current role, the Indiana native consistently finds his name linked with Indiana University whenever they have a vacant head-coaching position.

According to Jeff Goodman of The Field of 68, Stevens has no intentions of returning to the collegiate ranks.
