Dave Grohl Looks ‘Stressed’ After Mother Of Secret Love Child Spoke Out

Dave Grohl was spotted looking “stressed” in Los Angeles after reports surfaced identifying the mother of his alleged love child.

In September 2024, the rock singer admitted to fathering a baby outside his marriage and vowed to regain his wife Jordyn Blum‘s trust.

Despite previous marital strain and the infidelity scandal, Dave Grohl and Jordyn Blum were recently seen together wearing wedding rings.

Grohl was spotted while taking a smoke break in Los Angeles on Friday, just hours after Page Six revealed the identity of the mother of his alleged secret child.

The Foo Fighters frontman, 56, was seen grabbing lunch at the iconic Chateau Marmont before making stops at Gelson’s and CVS for errands.

Dressed casually, Grohl wore his hair tied back with a baseball cap, a green collared shirt, and black jeans.

According to the news outlet, Jennifer Young, 38, who lives a quiet life with her mother in Los Angeles, came forward to claim that the “Everlong” rocker fathered her baby girl while still married to his wife of twenty-one years, Blum, with whom he shares daughters; Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.

Young also has asked that the child’s name remain undisclosed, citing concerns over potential backlash from “some really angry fans.”

“Protecting her identity is really important,” she said.

When asked whether Grohl was actively involved in their child’s life, Young remained tight-lipped, telling the New York Post, “I can’t comment.”

Young is embracing a quiet life away from the public eye, and while it’s unclear how much contact she has with Grohl, the 38-year-old has been seen strolling through the city with her nearly seven-month-old daughter, who sports a helmet adorned with stickers of Elvis, Led Zeppelin, and Keanu Reeves.

Known for her love of music, Young has tattoos featuring Paul McCartney lyrics and the Metallica logo. Interestingly, her platinum blonde hair bears a striking resemblance to Grohl’s wife, Blum’s locks.

On Valentine’s Day, Young was spotted in New York City, the same time Grohl was in town for “Saturday Night Live’s” 50th-anniversary show. However, the two have not been publicly seen together.

Adding to the mystery, traces of Young’s online presence appear to have been wiped, with no clear record of her professional life or social media activity.

In September 2024, Grohl stunned fans by revealing that he had fathered a child with another woman just a month after the baby’s birth.

“I recently became a father to a baby girl born outside of my marriage,” he shared in an Instagram post. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”

Reports suggest the revelation of Grohl’s love child deeply affected Blum, and a source previously told PeopleMagazine that she had stopped wearing her wedding ring even before news of the affair became public.

Ahead of his love child announcement, Grohl reportedly hired a divorce attorney but later dismissed legal counsel in November as he tried to repair his marriage.

“The band needs time to be with their families and focus on regrouping,” the source told The Sun. “It’s been a turbulent few years, with the loss of their best friend, drummer Taylor Hawkins, the death of Dave’s mom, and now the birth of his new child.”

The insider also revealed that Grohl fully understands the gravity of his infidelity, which is why he pushed for a break to focus on rebuilding his bond with his family.

The source added, “He wants to be at home and focus on earning back the trust of his family. Being on the road isn’t the best thing for any of them at the moment. It feels like a hiatus is the best thing for them collectively.”

Meanwhile, Grohl and Blum appear to be reconnecting following their recent challenges.
