Dave Grohl’s Wife Is Reportedly In A ‘State Of Confusion’ Over His Affair

Dave Grohl‘s wife, Jordyn Blum, is reportedly uncertain about proceeding with a divorce after her husband fathered a child outside their marriage.

According to reports, her “worried” friends have staged an intervention to help convince her to ditch the rocker, but the mother of three remains in a “state of confusion.”

Dave Grohl has since owned up to his love affair, noting that he is working on winning back his family’s trust.

Last month, Grohl made a shocking revelation to his fans that he had not only cheated on his wife, Blum, but had also welcomed a love child.

Prior to the revelation, the Foo Fighters frontman and Blum had been married since 2003. Within that time, they had welcomed three daughters: Violet, 18; Harper, 15; and Ophelia, 10.

Although Blum has yet to comment on her husband’s infidelity, she appeared deeply hit by the revelation, with rumors emerging that she planned to walk away from the marriage.

However, sources close to the situation are saying that the mother of three remains uncertain about following through with a divorce.

“One day Jordyn Blum is ditching her wedding ring and vowing divorce from cheating husband Dave Grohl,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “The next, she’s at home wearing the ring and sobbing because she doesn’t want the marriage to end.”

Four of Blum’s closest girlfriends have reportedly staged an intervention to help her gain clarity.

According to the insider, they were “seriously worried” about the 48-year-old interior designer and couldn’t bear to see her grapple alone with the emotional hurt from Grohl’s philandering.

However, while providing emotional support, her friends have remained adamant that Grohl cannot be trusted again and that Blum should start a new chapter of her life away from him.

“Her besties have begged her to move forward with the split,” the source said, “Not to go back with him at any cost. There were lots of tears during the session.”

But due to Blum being in a “state of confusion,” she has yet to confirm whether she intends to move forward with the divorce, despite some of her friends even threatening to end their friendship if she doesn’t.

The insider added, “One of her friends, who’s been a close confidante for many years, even told Jordyn she’ll lose total respect for her if she takes Dave back and she’ll walk away from their decades long friendship.”

While it is unclear where the die would eventually fall with Blum, Grohl, on his part, still hopes to repair their broken bonds.

The musician expressed this desire in his message about welcoming a love child with a woman he is yet to name.

“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” Grohl wrote at the time, per the Daily Mail. “We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

However, if Blum decides to go ahead with a divorce, Grohl seems prepared for the process. He allegedly hired a divorce attorney before making his shocking admission on social media, per People.

Such a legal arrangement would help Grohl determine how much of his assets are at stake and if he can avoid a protracted court battle in a divorce scenario.

Blum has reportedly lost her trust in Grohl since the love child scandal. A source told People Magazine that she is now “focused on her own life and her girls.”

“It’s been rough for her. Her mind is not on her marriage, though,” the source added. “She doesn’t trust Dave. She’s not wearing her wedding ring.”

They added, “She’s leaning on a group of girlfriends. She feels lucky to be surrounded by love and support.”

After Grohl’s love child confession, the drama escalated when a person on social media shared a photo of a baby girl, claiming she was the child fathered by the rockstar.

The post, which was accompanied by a lengthy caption, showed the baby holding hands with a woman, presumably the mother.

After the post went viral, the user behind the Instagram account @valeriegreyson deleted it, but not before it sparked widespread speculation about whether the baby was truly the child Grohl admitted to fathering.

A rep for Grohl has since slammed the claim as “fake news,” telling TMZ that the child was not in any way connected to the Foo Fighters frontman.
