Diddy’s Son Christian Takes Over Dad’s Instagram Page Ahead Of His Trial

The embattled rapper recently marked his 55th birthday in jail and has since shared his gratitude with his children for standing by him through his mounting legal troubles.

Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested on September 16 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Diddy’s son Christian has disclosed that he will be in charge of his father’s Instagram account amid the hip-hop mogul’s stint in jail.

In a video shared on his dad’s account on Wednesday, Christian made the revelation, saying, “Right now, I’m taking over my pop’s Instagram.”

The 26-year-old rapper noted that he’s managing his father’s account to share uplifting messages and experiences with his dad’s millions of followers.

“We gon’ be posting videos, spreading good energy, and taking ya’ll down memory lane of all the positive things he did. So, stay tuned and watch this, let’s go!” he added.

He concluded in his post, “We love you, pops, happy birthday.”

Christian later shared the music video for Diddy’s 1997 hit “All About The Benjamins.”

“My Pops motivation to making music is always to make us dance and feel good HAPPY BIRTHDAY POPS !!!,” he wrote in the caption.

Several fans took to the comment section of Christian’s post to share their thoughts about his announcement.

“The Diddy party got a new host,” a fan sarcastically said, while another wrote, “Aw hell naw, we don’t want memory lane.”

A third person noted, “You move and talk like ya dad and not in a good way.”

“Your mom would be sick that you’re supporting him. She probably prayed for this day he would be stopped,” a fourth critic remarked.

Amid the criticisms, some people made sure to pen their support for Diddy and Christian.

“Much respect for this man even tho there had been some things that impacted many, but still at the end, he a kind person,” a fan said of Christian.

Another wrote, “C’mon baby, let’s go! Family over everything!”

Diddy recently had to celebrate his 55th birthday at his Brooklyn MDC jail, where he has been locked up since he was arrested in September following a grand jury indictment.

According to a report, the rapper’s birthday meal schedule suggested the celebration was unlike anyone he’s had before due to the quality of the food.

The Revolt co-founder also got a call from his children for his birthday celebration.

“I love y’all, I love y’all so much,” Diddy told his children when they called to sing him “Happy Birthday.”

“I can’t wait to see y’all. I just want to say that I’m proud of y’all, especially the girls. I mean, all y’all just for being strong,” he added, per Page Six.

The rapper then thanked the kids for being by his side and supporting him through his trying phase.

“I got the best family in the world. [It’s] my birthday. I’m happy. Thank you,” he said.

Diddy’s attorneys recently asked a judge for a gag order against grand jury witnesses after one of them made some scandalous remarks about sex tapes, which the rapper’s legal team said were “outrageous” claims.

In a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian filed on Sunday, Diddy’s team, led by attorneys Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos, requested an immediate gag order that would “restrain extrajudicial statements by potential witnesses and their counsel” following what they described as a “deluge of improper pretrial publicity that is undermining Mr. Combs’ right to a fair trial and the integrity of the grand jury proceedings.”

According to USA Today, the letter read, “Over the past several days, a grand jury witness and his attorney have given multiple interviews – including outside the courthouse immediately following his apparent grand jury testimony – making false and outrageous claims, including that the witness possesses videos of Mr. Combs involved in the sexual assault of celebrities and minors.”

Courtney Burgess has been making headlines, claiming he has or has seen disturbing videos of Diddy “victimizing” at least eight of his celebrity friends, which Diddy’s lawyers said were untrue and defamatory.

Last Thursday, Burgess and his attorney, Ariel Mitchell, appeared before a federal courthouse in lower Manhattan to testify for a grand jury.

He revealed that a grand jury had subpoenaed him after claiming he had sex tapes from Diddy’s parties and the real memoir of Kim Porter, Diddy’s late ex-girlfriend and mother of 4 of his kids.

The witness claims the videos came from a flash drive owned by Diddy’s ex-partner, the late Kim Porter, who allegedly obtained the footage from hidden cameras in the rapper’s home.
