Re: “Tesla overtakes Subaru as most overrepresented car in Seattle” (Feb. 4, Data):
I read with interest the FYI Guy’s column on Tesla overtaking Subaru as the most overrepresented car in Seattle. When I bought my Model 3 in 2019, it was just a plasticky sedan with shoddy build quality and terrifyingly bad “self-driving” features — redeemed only by its solid battery life. But today, it’s something far worse: the personal cash machine of the world’s richest man, fueling his mission to dismantle our 249-year-old democracy and entrench a global oligarchy that will impoverish generations for his own gain.
How strange that one of the “bluest” states is so eagerly funding this madness. Seattle, it’s time to wake up. Ditch the Tesla. Defy the oligarchs.
