Re: “Trump may give 775 acres of a federal wildlife refuge to Musk’s SpaceX” (Dec. 24, Nation & World):
I, for one, have no confidence that Elon Musk and his SpaceX company would be good stewards of the land if the Trump administration gives the 775 acres of a federal wildlife refuge in Texas.
This, after all is the man who saw providing assistance to the hungry and ill as “waste” (abolishing the U.S. Agency for International Development). How could anyone possible expect him to care about the lives of endangered ocelots and jaguarundis?
This seems to be yet another example of the Trump administration’s “pay to play” way of doing business. It is certainly not for the good of the country, or the endangered animals.
