Even STEM Leans Liberal: Democrats Outnumber Republican Professors In StEM Departments | The Gateway Pundit

Just when you think it couldn’t be more apparent, it is now proven that professors across the board, including in those in the STEM fields, lean left.

STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. A STEM-based curriculum blends those subjects to teach “21st-century skills” and provide students with the tools they will need to succeed in the workplace of the “future.”

According to The College Fix, “Democratic professors outnumber their Republican counterparts by a ratio of about 4 to 1 in math and engineering departments.”

    Per The Fix:

The Fix reviewed the political affiliations of professors in these departments, specifically looking at the same 10 universities analyzed in the past year. The Fix previously looked up the affiliations of professors in humanities departments. A full list of universities can be found at the end of the article.

In total, The Fix identified 532 Democratic professors to 142 Republicans. The analysis used publicly available party registration and voting history.

There were also 43 professors affiliated with a third-party, 348 who were unaffiliated, and 857 that could not be identified.

It was also reported by The College Fix that outrageously in the Red State of Florida, zero Republican professors were found in six departments at Florida State University.

These statistics are a clear indictment of our so-called places of higher education and underscore doubts about public institutions receiving public funding to push a one-sided agenda.

Recent revelations about the funding from USAID show how public dollars, even when hidden and filtered through various controverted ways, shows how American tax dollars are being used to push leftist narratives in education and the media.

These trends reflect the Cultural Marxist takeover of the main institutions.

One can hope in The Trump era, things will change, and parents will critically investigate the schools their children attend and demand answers from these so-called educational institutions.
