Gisele Bündchen is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente. However, despite the exciting pregnancy news, sources reveal that marriage is not currently in the cards for the couple.

The supermodel is reportedly not willing to rush into tying the knot with the jiu-jitsu instructor.

Gisele Bündchen, who was previously married to NFL legend Tom Brady, reportedly broke the pregnancy news to the football legend herself.

According to Page Six, sources revealed that the Brazillian supermodel will not be walking down the aisle with Valente “anytime soon” even though she’s “thrilled” to have his baby.

Bündchen is said to be months gone already with speculations putting her expected delivery date around February. However, her friends don’t think that’ll be enough to make her tie the knot with the jiu-jitsu trainer, as they expect them to just “live together for now.”

“There is a huge difference between them net-worth wise,” the source said. “There is no point in tempting fate as far as Giselle is concerned.”

Bündchen is reportedly worth $400 million after enjoying a lengthy career as one of the world’s most successful models, working with top brands like H&M, Chanel, Victoria’s Secret, and Balenciaga.

A source recently told People Magazine that the former Victoria’s Secret angel is “excited” about welcoming her first child with Valente and is preparing to deliver at home.

They noted that she was seemingly not in a rush to confirm the baby’s gender and would instead wait until delivery to find out herself.

“Gisele’s very happy in Miami,” the source shared. “She enjoys her life there. Everyone’s thriving.”

The source also added that she feels “very lucky” to have met Valente, who started off initially as her Jiu-Jitsu instructor before confirming their romance in March 2024, as the supermodel gushed about their “transparent” affection for each other.

Meanwhile, sources close to Bündchen’s ex-husband, Tom Brady, have disclosed that the news of her pregnancy saddened the former NFL star.

According to the Daily Mail, an insider shared that Brady was “stung” and “upset” that Bündchen had taken in and found it “a hard pill to swallow.”

“Finding out Gisele was pregnant stung,” the insider told the news outlet. “Tom had to get out his feelings about it, and he did it in his own time.”

“There’s not a lot of people who see the Tom behind closed doors, but those that do could see he was upset,” the insider continued. “It was a hard pill to swallow. It was never something he ever thought was going to happen.”

“But she is still the mother of two of his children, so he wants her to be OK. He has to move on and with her pregnant, she has definitely moved on, so he can’t be upset about it anymore,” they added. “It is out of his control, out of his hands. He is not letting it get to him anymore.”

Although Brady was left stunned by the news of Bündchen and Valente’s baby, the NFL star is reportedly willing to accept his son and daughter’s new half-sibling, the same way his ex-wife welcomed his eldest son Jack, whom he shares with his former partner, Bridget Moynahan.

“Back in the day when they started to fall in love, she accepted and loved his son that he already had, so he is going to give the same respect to her future child,” the source told the Daily Mail.

They added, “At the end of the day, everyone is still family.”
