Hulk Hogan’s Family Crisis Deepens As Brooke’s Husband Speaks Up

Hulk Hogan‘s family drama continues to unfold, and now, Brooke Hogan‘s husband, Steven Oleksy, is stepping in to defend his wife.

The former professional hockey player took to Instagram over the weekend to address the ongoing tension, particularly between Brooke and her mother, Linda Hogan.

Without directly naming Linda or Hulk Hogan, Oleksy made it clear that he could no longer stay silent while his wife was being attacked.

In his lengthy social media post, Steven Oleksy strongly dismissed Linda Hogan’s claim that Brooke had physically harmed her in the past.

Linda had previously accused her daughter of breaking her collarbone, an allegation that Oleksy found completely absurd.

“The claim that Brooke broke this individual’s collarbone is laughable,” he wrote, referring to Linda as “Jane Doe” instead of using her name directly.

He also addressed the rumors of Brooke having a drinking problem, stating that while she enjoys an occasional cocktail, she has never struggled with alcohol abuse.

Oleksy’s defense of Brooke came after Linda publicly accused her daughter of being a “narcissist,” after she alleged that her mother was both verbally and physically abusive toward her growing up.

Beyond the drama with Linda, Oleksy also made some strong statements that appeared to be aimed at Hulk Hogan.

He refuted the claim that Brooke intentionally kept her marriage a secret from her family, revealing that they had no choice but to keep things low-key due to a specific individual’s stance on family gatherings.

“There was no option when another party involved said they ‘don’t do weddings or funerals anymore,'” Oleksy wrote, seemingly referring to Hulk Hogan.

The wrestling legend, who married Sky Daily in 2023, had reportedly told Brooke and Oleksy that he no longer attended such events, which made it difficult for them to include him in their wedding plans.

He further claimed that this same person—again, likely referring to Hulk—had also told them they “don’t do concerts” and declined an invitation to see Stevie Nicks with them.

However, Oleksy pointed out the hypocrisy by noting that the individual later attended multiple concerts without issue.

In addition to addressing the allegations and defending Brooke against what he described as unfair attacks, Oleksy took the opportunity to praise his wife for her resilience.

He described her as a strong and independent woman who has built a successful life and career despite her complicated relationship with her parents.

“She pulled herself up by her bootstraps,” Oleksy wrote, emphasizing that Brooke has managed to thrive independently.

He also shared a picture of their children on Instagram Story, further highlighting the new life they have created together.

The Hogan family drama began on Wednesday after Linda posted an emotional video revealing the deep divisions in the family and claimed Brooke Hogan had cut her off for nearly eight years despite her attempts to reconnect.

However, Brooke responded to her mom in a lengthy post, stating that she is as much to blame for the family’s issues while also explaining her reason for keeping her distance after alleged verbal and mental abuse and manipulation from her parents since her childhood.

Linda quickly responded to her estranged daughter’s statement via a Facebook post, labeling her a “narcissist just like her dad,” and claiming that Brooke was spreading lies about her upbringing.

“Seems narcissism runs deep in this family,” Linda wrote. “Brooke is a narcissist just like her dad… spewing lies to everyone, and I’m supposed to defend my truth against that.” She suggested that Brooke was trying to hide the truth about her past from her husband and his family.

Addressing Brooke’s claims of abuse, Linda admitted, “I might have spanked Brooke once, yeah, and called her a couple of names,” but insisted she never treated her daughter as badly as Brooke described. She argued that if she had truly been abusive, her children would have spoken out years ago.

Linda also accused Hulk Hogan of manipulating Brooke after their divorce. She alleged that Brooke sided with her father, even writing a song about her mother before later speaking out against her in tabloids. Additionally, Linda claimed Brooke had a history of alcohol-related incidents, including an alleged drunken attack that left Linda with a broken collarbone.

On Instagram, Linda posted cryptic messages about setting boundaries and dealing with narcissistic behavior, seemingly aimed at her daughter.

Brooke didn’t waste time responding to her mom’s claims. In another statement on Instagram, she addressed Linda Hogan’s accusations, making it clear that she never intended to be part of the public feud.

“First of all, it appears my mother may not have actually read what I wrote,” Brooke said, responding to Linda’s claims. She pointed out inconsistencies in her mother’s statements, particularly Linda’s claim that she had “never met my husband and she doesn’t even know what his name is,” despite having spent time with them. Brooke noted that Linda later deleted that comment.

Brooke also expressed frustration at constantly being pulled into family disputes, stating, “My name is continuously brought up in the constant drama of my family.” She emphasized that her original post did not directly accuse anyone of abusive behavior but noted, “So if she’s triggered by something, I think that speaks volumes.”

Taking a firm stand against Linda’s allegations, Brooke dismissed her mother’s claims as completely false. “She is however making a serious accusation against me directly that has zero validity. And THAT I take seriously,” she wrote. Confident in her position, Brooke added, “I have plenty of people who know the truth, and I know the truth, so I am not afraid.”

Along with her statement, Brooke shared a photo taken on June 3, 2023, showing her husband Steven Oleksy, brother Nick Hogan, his partner, and Linda enjoying a meal together. The picture directly contradicted Linda’s assertion that she had not seen Brooke or her husband in years.

Brooke ended her post with a caption that reflected her frustration: “Thank you for all of the support. I am embarrassed that I even have to make another post about this.”
