The billionaire entrepreneur and his longtime partner are set to say their vows in Venice, Italy, celebrating their union with three days of festivities. However, the venues for these events will reportedly remain a mystery until the last minute.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez recently touched down in Venice alongside several celebrities for the big day.

According to a source, the details of Bezos and Sánchez’s wedding are shrouded in mystery, and their guests have no idea what to expect. They claimed that attendees were not informed of the locations for the three-day celebration and were only given the arrival time of their water taxis.

The insider explained that Bezos and Sánchez expected guests to show up and be driven to the location for their wedding ceremony. So far, several A-listers have been spotted in Venice after booking rooms at some of the five luxury hotels in the city.

The Aman hotel, per Page Six, reportedly built a special pier to accommodate its celebrity clientele, including the Amazon billionaire and Sánchez.

Other famous hotels like St. Regis, where billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates is rumored to be staying, have also made necessary adjustments for their celebrity guests.

Although wedding guests may not know the locations for Bezos and Sánchez’s festivities, the source noted that they won’t be underdressed for the events. They claimed that attendees were given mood boards to guide their wardrobe choices, along with examples for inspiration.

The move ensured that Bezos and Sánchez could give guests a general idea of what to wear without spilling the tea about their celebration plans. However, the couple isn’t the first to pull this move as billionaires Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant did the same thing during their six-day wedding in 2024.

Bezos and Sánchez’s rumored locations for their three-day festivities include the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, Madonna dell’Orto church, and the Arsenale. Most guests reportedly arrived in Venice on Wednesday to kick off the celebrations at a villa on the small island of San Giovanni Evangelista.

Bezos and Sánchez’s desire to keep the locations of their celebrations a mystery might stem from the attention on their wedding.The Blast shared that eagle-eyed reporters did not miss any details, including the careless mistake made by Beatrice Bavato, a freelance Venetian tour guide.

The paparazzi spotted Bavato at Marco Polo Airport with a clipboard detailing the names of numerous celebrities, their arrival details, and hotel information.

The leaked guest list included stars like Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner. Film director David Sabshon and London-based patisserie chef Cedric Grolet were also spotted.

The list continued with entrepreneurs like Mike George, a former Amazon executive and Bezos’ longtime pal. Fashion royalty Sandra Leong and her husband, philanthropist Robert Gelfond, were also named alongside Sánchez’s hairstylist, Sophie Gutterman, and make-up artists Laura Mele and Buster Knight.

Bezos and Sánchez reportedly sent out the invitations for their wedding in May, with The Blast reporting the invites housed a unique request from the couple. They implored their guests not to worry about presents, revealing that three Venetian charities would receive generous donations on their behalf.

Besides funding these charities, Bezos and Sánchez’s spirit of giving in honor of their union continued with their support of local vendors in Venice. They reportedly enlisted the services of local entrepreneurs and businesses to cater to at least 80% of their wedding needs.

Unfortunately, the couple’s support of the local Venice community was not enough to sway everyone. Some residents and activist organizations have taken to the streets to protest against Bezos and Sánchez’s wedding.

These groups also demanded that the billionaire be heavily taxed since he could rent half of the city.
