Jenn Tran Reveals Relationship Status With Jonathon Johnson

Jenn Tran is speaking out about the recent romance rumors involving her and Jonathon Johnson, a contestant from “The Bachelorette” Season 21 who finished in third place after she eliminated him during a rose ceremony.

Speculation about a potential romance between the two began to swirl after Jonathon Johnson took to Instagram on September 5 to express his admiration for Jenn Tran, mentioning that he was excited to spend time with her while she was in Los Angeles for her time on “Dancing with the Stars.”

Their breakup quickly turned messy, with Jenn accusing Devin of joining the show purely for fame. In response, Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram, where he shared his side of the story and uploaded hundreds of screenshots from their text conversations.

Following her dramatic breakup with ex-fiancé Devin, “Bachelorette” star Jenn has since reconnected with fellow contestant Jonathon Johnson.

Now, she’s opening up about where their relationship stands today.

The speculation grew even stronger after their joint appearance at a party on September 13, which has only added to the intrigue surrounding their relationship. Although the chemistry between them appears evident, Jenn seemed to sidestep the relationship question when asked by People.

“It’s funny, because [you learn] so much more about the person after the show,” she said of Johnson. “There’s so many layers to uncover and things about them that you didn’t know, especially things that they were feeling in the moment on the show, and you’re like, ‘Wait, you weren’t feeling that way?'”

“So it’s so nice to know Jonathon even more after the show,” she added. “We’ve become so much closer.”

Last month, Jenn explained that the long-distance aspect of her potential relationship with Jonathon played a significant role in their decision to part ways.

“There was a lot. It just wasn’t there,” she explained. “I hope he won’t mind me saying this, but he just wasn’t sure about doing long distance as well. I was like, ‘I live in Miami, I’m not going to be moving.’ And he’s not going to be moving. So we didn’t know if long distance wise if his heart wasn’t in it and mine wasn’t in it.”

But now that she is spending time in L.A. for “Dancing with the Stars,” many are hopeful that the two will get back together.

Tran began appearing in Jonathon’s TikToks, which only fueled rumors among fans about a possible romantic relationship between the two.

The pair made headlines when they attended People‘s 50th birthday celebration at The Chain House in Los Angeles together in September.

Later that month, at the season 33 premiere of “Dancing with the Stars,” Tran spoke to People Magazine about her love life after Johnson was spotted cheering her on from the audience.

In response to Johnson’s recent appearance on “The Viall Files” podcast, where he said he’d say “yes” if she asked him on a date, Tran commented, “Honestly, Jonathon’s been such an amazing friend of mine, and it’s been great having someone in L.A. to support me and be such a rock for me.”

She went on to clarify, “Right now, my heart’s just not in the space to date anybody, let alone Jonathon. But I’m excited to see where our friendship goes.”

Jonathon opened up about their on-air failed romance during the September 10 episode of “The Viall Files,” telling Nick Viall, “I genuinely think it was just the connection wasn’t there.”

But now that the show is over, and the two learn more about one another, things may be changing. “The conversation has not been had yet,” he said of a possible rekindling romance. “I mean, she’s gonna be in L.A. for a few months, this is where I live.”

He added, “Open-minded is probably where I stand.”
