The two have been going strong for months, but only recently went Instagram official with their relationship. Her relationship with the hypnotherapist has now been reported as one that makes her feel “very safe,” and she is very excited about its prospects.

Sources close to Jennifer Aniston have provided updates about her ongoing relationship with Jim Curtis.

“Their relationship is different,” an insider said to People Magazine about the romance, which seems to have started sometime this year.

According to the confidant, the actress, who has had a number of high-profile relationships in the past, is “very excited” about her new romance with Curtis.

They also revealed how smitten Aniston appears to be with Curtis, who works as a hypnotherapist.

“It’s obvious that she admires him,” the insider noted about Aniston. “She talks about how he has amazing energy, and she loves what he does for living, because it truly helps people, including herself.”

As for their quirks, the duo reportedly gravitates toward the same things, including “little rituals,” “symbolism,” and “moments that are grounding.”

Detailing more about the relationship, the source further revealed that Curtis is “kind and grounded. These traits, according to the insider, have made the actress fully let down her guard around him.

“She acts like she feels very safe with him. She’s really in a great place,” said the source.

Beyond everything else, Aniston is also enamored by how much good Curtis does, something she revealed in a recent interview with Elle.

“He’s quite extraordinary, and helps many, many people,” the actress shared at the time. “He’s very special, very normal, and very kind, and wants to help people heal, move through their trauma and stagnation into clarity.”

“It’s a beautiful thing to commit your life to,” added the veteran Hollywood star of her beau’s career as a hypnotherapist.

Speculations began swirling in July that Aniston is in a relationship with Curtis when they were first spotted looking cozy on a yacht during a trip to Mallorca, Spain.

Later that month, it was confirmed that they were “casually dating” and had been “seeing each other for months.”

As for how they met, it all happened thanks to a mutual friend they share, although the identity of the individual wasn’t disclosed.

“They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends. Jen had read his book and was familiar with his work,” said a source, per People Magazine. “He’s very different from anyone she’s dated before.”

In August, insiders also revealed that Aniston’s close friends love Curtis, having seen all the good things he brings into the life of the actress.

“He has this really calm and secure energy. Jen loves it,” a source shared. “He feels very safe for her.”

At the time, the insider also claimed that the hypnotherapist helped Aniston “turn inwards and slow down a bit.”
