Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck Exchange Christmas Gifts Amid Divorce

The former couple reportedly put their differences aside to exchange gifts and enjoy a leisurely lunch together at the exclusive Soho House in Los Angeles.

Reports claim that while Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have yet to finalize their divorce, they’ve decided to maintain a cordial relationship for the sake of their children.

According to the Daily Mail, Lopez and Affleck met for lunch on Sunday at the members-only Soho House in West Hollywood.

The “Jenny From The Block” songstress donned a cozy, oversized cardigan and wide-leg blue jeans for the date and reportedly exchanged presents with the “Argo” actor despite filing for divorce from him in August.

That same day, Affleck was also spotted picking up his son from his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s $7.8M four-bedroom Brentwood Park home.

It comes after a source told Page Six last week that the exes “have every intention of continuing to be in each other’s lives despite not being romantically involved.”

The insider added, “Ben and Jennifer are still connected and they do communicate when it involves their kids.”

Lopez went holiday shopping with her family on Saturday as Christmas day draws near. According to the news outlet, she was seen strolling along Rodeo Drive in L.A. with her team and her son Emme.

The “Hustlers” actress wore a plunging tank top and faded jeans and added a touch of holiday flair with a stylish snow-white overcoat. She styled her hair into a high bun and wore designer sunglasses to protect her eyes.

She had earlier opened up about how the holiday season is somewhat the busiest for her, but she noted that this time, she’ll try to keep her “routine consistent” and indulge in some self- “pampering.”

The “Let’s Get Loud” singer shared that she was looking forward to the festive period as it affords her the opportunity to “relax and have fun and create new memories” with her family.

“It was a pretty intense year for me, and I’m most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family coming out from the East Coast,” Lopez said, per People Magazine. “The holidays are such a special time for us and they’ve always been since I was a little girl. And I really look forward to those moments when I can be with my sisters and just relax and have fun and create new memories.”

She also added that the holidays allow her to “slow down” and “enjoy” being with her loved ones.

“We don’t get to see each other all year, so we kind of catch up on what everybody’s doing and how life is. It’s just a beautiful time. I really enjoy it,” she said.

Lopez also spoke about how she’s looking to make time for her skincare and health routine “whether it’s through a little affirmation or a little mindful breathing meditation for a couple of minutes in the morning.”

Having been through a tough year due to her divorce from Affleck, she also mentioned that she hopes to maintain balance and grow for her New Year resolution.

“I think a lot of it is about a deeper connection to myself and to God,” Lopez said, adding, “making sure we’re checking with ourselves so we can be great for everybody that we love around us.”

She continued, “I’m also setting my sights on pushing my boundaries creatively and seeing where that takes me, whether that’s through acting or music or producing or expanding JLo Beauty. I want to continue challenging myself to evolve and to try new things while all the while being true to who I am and those that I love.”

In a recent interview with British Vogue, the “Ain’t Your Mama” singer discussed her go-to formula for overcoming “hardship,” having experienced a trying 2024.

“I think the way I overcome things is not by thinking of them as happening to me but happening for me and what is the lesson that needs to be learned in the moment,” Lopez told the news outlet. “When I think of things that way and stay in a kind of a more positive mindset about it, it’s easier to kind of embrace it for the lesson that it is.”

“Because that’s really what our hardships are in life,” she continued. “What am I supposed to learn here?”

She further added that “there are no coincidences,” as things don’t happen “randomly” but for a “reason.”
