Justin Bieber made an unexpected splash during a casual Sunday golf outing in Palm Springs, and not with his swing. The 31-year-old singer was photographed relieving himself on the course, appearing to unzip before letting nature take over in the middle of the rough. The leaked photos show the two-time Grammy winner standing with his fly open as he took a quick bathroom break between tee shots. The singer kept things otherwise low-key, dressed casually as he enjoyed the desert sunshine, though fans online were quick to joke that he may have taken the relaxed vibes a little too literally.

Sources Say IPAs May Have Sparked Justin Bieber’s Mid-Game Bathroom Crisis

According to TMZ, onlookers said Bieber had been enjoying a few IPAs while playing, which likely led to the urgent moment. And as any golfer knows, most courses aren’t exactly known for having convenient restroom access on every hole. Sometimes, the nearest “porta-potty” is the nearest bush.

The on-course mishap surfaced just one day after Hailey Bieber celebrated her 29th birthday with Justin by her side. On Sunday, November 23, the model posted a carousel of birthday highlights on Instagram, including a cozy clip of the couple strolling together while holding hands. The adorable video focused on their sock-clad feet as they walked side by side.

Justin’s golf-course mishap comes at the end of a year where his name has repeatedly dominated headlines, from speculation about possible drug use to concerns over his anger issues during public outings. One of the most viral moments came in April, when Bieber took to Instagram to call out what he described as the “darkness” in Los Angeles, specifically the nonstop harassment he faces from paparazzi.

In a video he shared, Justin filmed his own point of view while stepping outside into a wall of blinding camera flashes. Paparazzi were seen crowding him, blocking his path, and ignoring repeated warnings from his security to step back. “Look at these guys, man,” Bieber can be heard saying in frustration. He captioned the clip with a blunt message, “This has to stop.”

The pop star followed it with several posts about the larger culture surrounding Hollywood, pushing back at people urging him to move away from L.A. “Everyone telling me to move from LA,” he wrote in a text slide. He questioned why he should “get bullied to leave” a city where he believes his influence is still “most needed,” adding that you can’t make change “if we run away from the darkness.”

Bieber also reflected on how fame affected him in earlier years, admitting he had once been swept up in Hollywood’s “transactional” environment. Now, as a husband and father, he said he wants nothing to do with that world. Justin and Hailey welcomed their first child, Jack Blues, in 2024, a shift he says has changed everything about how he moves through life.

Just days before the golf-course incident made headlines, Justin Bieber went viral for something far more heartwarming, stopping to help a stranded driver in Los Angeles. In a TikTok posted by creator @bukumusic, the musician explained he’d been going through a “tough” chapter in life when his car suddenly broke down. Text on the video read, “When your car breaks down… and you’ve been trying so hard in life. It’s just tough.”

The TikToker explained he had moved to the city “trying to make it here like everybody else” when his car broke down, and suddenly, a vehicle pulled up beside him. After squinting in disbelief, he said, “I might be trippin’, but I think Justin Bieber just stopped to help,” before asking, “Are you Justin Bieber?”

Bieber replied, “Yeah, what up, bro, it’s Justin,” and asked what happened. When the driver joked, “Do you really wanna know?” Justin told him, “Tell me, bro,” prompting the TikToker to stop recording out of respect.

After Bieber left, the stunned TikToker returned to the camera, calling it “crazy” and revealing the singer gave him “the best prayer I’ve ever had in my life.”
