Kanye West’s Wife Reportedly Demands ‘Independence’ From Rapper

Bianca Censori has reportedly demanded “independence” from her husband, Kanye West, as they try to work on their marriage after being plagued by divorce rumors.

The “Donda” rapper allegedly refused Censori from accepting numerous multi-million dollar offers from fashion houses despite the bombshell blonde having an interest in them.

For now, Kanye West is said to have softened his stance, but Bianca Censori remains prepared to “leave him for good” if he changes his mind.

Following earlier reports about Censori’s frustration over West stopping her from accepting multi-million-dollar fashion collaborations, the Yeezy architect recently issued him an ultimatum during their trip to Spain.

The duo, who have been in the country for a while, is said to be holding “crisis talks” about their relationship amid rumors that they might get a divorce.

Part of their discussion involved Censori taking a stand on her need for independence to chase collaborations with fashion houses that have been approaching her, as well as to make solo appearances without West.

According to The US Sun, West, seemingly seeing how serious Censori was about the matter, reluctantly agreed to grant her some leeway as “tension between them has been at an all time high.” However, Censori remains prepared to leave if West makes any reversal on his part.

“If Kanye changes his mind, she’s ready to pack her things and leave immediately,” said a source, who also noted such a move could push their marriage to a “breaking point.”

While in Spain, Censori has already begun making her own moves to carve a path for herself, away from the influence of her husband.

She reportedly met up with two yet-to-be-named fashion brands that are eager to sign her for ambassadorial and consultancy roles. Interestingly, West was kept out of these meetings, a clear indication that she is taking charge.

“She misses doing her own work,” the same source told the outlet. “She doesn’t want to feel limited. She’s a very creative person and wants to establish herself as a powerful, independent woman.”

While it remains to be seen if West will change his mind, insiders have claimed that Censori is happy he conceded to her request as she has been feeling like she was “stuck in a cage.”

“She doesn’t want to just be Kanye’s wife and nothing else,” a second source informed the outlet. “She’s happy he finally accepted her wishes. Bianca is very smart and misses her independence. Hopefully, this marks a new chapter for her.”

Driving Censori’s need for independence is her belief that she can make a large income from all of the offers she has been getting.

“She knows she could make tons of money,” an insider previously told The US Sun. “She wants to explore opportunities as a model, brand ambassador, and a talented individual—not just someone living in the shadow of her husband. But Kanye keeps shutting her down.”

At the time, the source also claimed that Censori could make as much as “$6 million” annually from all the deals, but West previously refused to agree to those collaborations.

“She misses being active,” a source said then. “She keeps pushing for more independence, but he always says no, and she won’t accept a deal without his approval.”

Previously, it was reported that Censori is “encouraging” West to have a baby with her.

She believes it will “save their marriage and heal their relationship,” an insider told the Daily Mail about the duo who tied the knot secretly in December 2022.

The source also noted how West’s recent online antics partly inspired her alleged plans to have a child.

“Bianca feels that having another child will calm Kanye down and prevent him from putting himself or her in danger with his actions,” the insider further remarked.

“She knows how amazing he is as a father and believes he behaves differently around his kids – more attentive and less likely to act in ways that could cause harm.”

According to the New York Post, an insider revealed that West is committed to preserving his marriage with Censori amid circulating rumors of marital woes.

The 47-year-old rapper has reportedly told friends that he “doesn’t want the marriage to be over” and is willing “to do whatever he can to keep it together.”
