Kathy Griffinis opening up about some uncomfortable truths in her family.

The comedian and actress revisited the story of her eldest brother, Kenneth, who is deceased, and revealed that he was a pedophile who struggled with drug problems.

Griffin’s revelation comes shortly after the Epstein files were released, which showed “disturbing” images of the late convicted sex offender hanging out with President Donald Trump.

As she spoke about the incident, she also began to reflect on growing up with a troubled family member.

“I’m going to open up to you about something now that I haven’t really talked about since my first book [Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin], and when I talked about it, the rest of my family was very, very upset with me,” she said.

Griffin spoke about her late brother Kenneth, noting that he struggled with drug abuse and was a violent person, likely due to an “undiagnosed mental illness” that did not go well with his drug use.

The 65-year-old explained that her late brother’s issues likely started in his teen years and kept manifesting even when he grew into an adult. Griffin then went into gruesome details of her sibling’s crime as seen in an excerpt shared on Instagram:

“He [Kenneth] was molesting one boy and one girl that she knew of. So, for all the ways that the Trumpers used the word ‘pedo’ and all the stuff that we have learned about Jeffrey Epstein — Let me tell you something, having your oldest brother be a pedophile is something that you don’t ever grow out of.”

Knowing about her brother made Griffin very uncomfortable, as she now had to live with the grim truth of being related to a pedophile.

“You don’t get over it. I wanted to kill him because all I could think about were those children,” she added.

The Primetime Emmy Award winner shared that watching her parents repeatedly try and fail to save Kenneth was “heartbreaking.” However, she was determined not to protect his wrongdoing simply because he was her brother.

Griffin’s revelation comes weeks after videos and pictures were released from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate. Among the 95,000 images released under the new Epstein Files Transparency Act, some photos show Trump posing with six unidentified women.

According to The Blast, also present were some condoms featuring a caricature of Trump alongside the words, “I’M HUUUUGE!”

The committee released a statement following the release, and it read, “These disturbing images raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world. Time to end this White House cover-up. Release the files!”

Alongside images, documents were also released from Epstein’s estate. Among them was a letter from Epstein to Larry Nassar, and in it, the late sex offender seemingly hinted that Trump shared his love for young girls.

“We shared one thing … our love & caring for young ladies and the hope they reach their full potential,” Epstein allegedly wrote, per The Blast.

He also claimed that Trump “loved to grab snatch” young girls whenever they walked by.

In another letter written by Epstein, the disgraced convict further claimed that Trump was aware of the sex trafficking network he ran and would allegedly spend “hours” at his house with one of the minors.

According to The Blast, Epstein described Trump as the “dog that hasn’t barked.” However, the letter didn’t divulge more details on the president’s involvement with the underage girls.

Trump’s alleged involvement with the Epstein case has caused many to distance themselves from him, including Griffin, although the actress has never really been a big fan of the president.

In 2017, she shared a picture holding a Halloween mask resembling Trump covered in blood, resulting in backlash from the public and loss of several deals.

Even now, eight years later, she still faces the heat from Trumpers who find her “very triggering,” per The Blast.

Despite it all, the actress has continued to remain outspoken and has described herself as “fearless” even in the face of adversity.
