If you’re wondering how intense college football rivalries get, look no further than the Egg Bowl.
According to Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, before No. 7 Ole Miss and Mississippi State kicked off in Starkville, Miss., Saturday, Mississippi State fans broke into the Ole Miss locker room — first at 10 p.m. Thursday and then at 3 a.m. Friday — and stole the jersey of Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss.
Kiffin told ESPN’s Marty Smith that Ole Miss had cameras in the locker room that captured the incident.
Per CBS Sports, Kiffin later said, “I guess you expect nothing less from these people,” in reference to the Mississippi State fan base.
