With basketball superstar LeBron James‘ latest career move, things appear to be getting a little more complicated in his household.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend signed with the Philadelphia 76ers in July 2026, setting himself up for his 24th NBA season.

With the new adjustments in his household, the transition hasn’t been as smooth for the athlete. Now, his wife, Savannah James, is giving fans a glimpse into the pressures of keeping family life on track amid the new changes.

Savannah James Gets Candid About The Struggles Of Balancing Family Life

While on the “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast, Savannah let onlookers in on what it has been like since her husband started playing in Philadelphia.

“The crazy in my life is the fact that I have to figure out how to be in three places at once,” she said. The mother of three is currently juggling between New York City, Los Angeles, and recently Philadelphia. “That is crazy. I try not to think about it because I’m like, it’s gonna stress me out.”

Giving a little insight into her new schedule, Savannah shared, “New York will be the hub, so it’ll be L.A., New York, and Philly, and my son is in school in Tucson, Arizona.”

Their second son, Bryce James, plays college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats and made his regular season debut early this month.  “So along with his season, he’s everywhere else. So, trying to plan my life out like that is a little crazy for me right now,” the mother of three quipped.

Savannah also reflected on becoming more comfortable with embracing change and how personal growth helped her develop a calmer outlook.

“… LeBron going to play in Philly, it’s gonna be an adjustment. It is gonna work out. Zhuri going into middle school is an adjustment. But it’s gonna work out. And then the boys are kind of living their own lives,” she said.

LeBron James Is Commuting To And From Practice In A Helicopter

While Savannah is managing a hectic schedule across multiple cities, LeBron has found his own way of navigating the demands of his new timetable.

The Blast reported that while LeBron might work in the city of brotherly love, he is making a commute to practice from the Big Apple through the most unexpected means: a helicopter.

However, fans were quick to point out how dangerous the four-time NBA champion’s mode of transportation was after videos of his departure from practice were shared online in September.

Many cited the death of his dear friend Kobe Bryant from a helicopter crash in 2020.

The chatter didn’t seem to faze the highly decorated athlete. Last month, he was asked by an ESPN reporter about the conversation, and LeBron shut it down before it could even take off.

“Yeah, I’ve done it before,” he said, before calling the helicopter “another way of transportation,” according to The Blast.

After being spotted traveling to and from the two cities, it was confirmed that Fanatics was sponsoring the trips.

“The deal we signed with Fanatics almost three years ago includes access to their corporate aviation,” a spokesperson for the athlete disclosed. “It’s a feature in many of their deals with their largest athletes, and we appreciate their partnership as LeBron splits his time between New York and Philadelphia.”

Just days after joining the 76ers, LeBron promoted his partnership with prediction market company Polymarket by posting their new initiative, Polymarket HQ.

The lucrative partnership was secured in September of 2026. The deal is reportedly worth $15 million annually, nearly double what he would earn from his basketball contract. His two-year deal with the 76ers is valued at $8 million in total.

Despite LeBron not being the only NBA star getting involved in the prediction market industry, his move had sports fans enraged, questioning if this was a conflict of interest with the NBA.

Away from her famous husband, Savannah was recently the center of fan disapproval following her comments on money dynamics in her friendships.

While speaking with podcast co-host April McDaniel, Savannah revealed she felt no obligation to pay for things while out with friends, as they did not have that expectation of her.

McDaniel noted how different their lifestyles were, especially evident when they were traveling, as Savannah was in first class while she was in business.

The news did not go over well with listeners, who called Savannah selfish and not doing nearly enough for her friends, per The Blast.
