    Re: “New WA payroll tax plan emerges ahead of 2026 legislative session” (Dec. 3, Local News):

    How about a different approach? How about spending less? Yes, some programs will get cut, but government was never intended to solve all of society’s ills. The job of the Legislature should be prioritizing all programs and determining what we should spend our limited dollars on, not finding ways to endlessly increase our taxes.
