As for Poehler’s “Good Hang” podcast taking home a trophy, Kelly questioned the fairness of the decision, suggesting the result favored industry insiders.

Megyn Kelly Ridicules Mark Ruffalo While Slamming Amanda Sykes as ‘Racist’

During a recent episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show,” the podcaster dismissed Hollywood’s biggest night as “so much nonsense.”

She did not hold back in airing her displeasure at how actors like Ruffalo wore the “Be Good pin,” and criticizing Ruffalo’s show of honor.  “He’s the worst, he is just so bad,” Kelly said of Ruffalo.

Kelly turned her attention to Sykes, who joked during her presentation about people being upset “that a queer Black woman is up here doing the job of two mediocre white guys.”

However, “The Upshaws” star’s jokes did not sit well with the conservative commentator, who claimed the comedian “made it all about herself.”

“It’s so racist,” Kelly complained, adding that Sykes is “pathetic” for how she put down “white guys” but wants praise for herself.

The media personality also took issue with the 61-year-old actress dedicating Ricky Gervais’ win to the trans community, labeling the move “disrespectful.”

“How dare you?” Kelly said, going as far as urging event organizers to bar Sykes from presenting at future ceremonies.

Kelly continued her tirade, dragging in the new Best Podcast Category for which she landed on the eligibility shortlist late last year, automatically compiled from listener and audience data.

“I, among other podcasts, was nominated,” Kelly explained, clarifying that her show only advanced to the shortlist. However, according to the 55-year-old, she ultimately withdrew from consideration as the organizers asked her to pay fees and participate in promotional efforts.

Kelly recalled vehemently refusing the offer, saying, “I’d rather put a bullet in my brain. F-ck no.” She then aimed at Poehler, whose celebrity-driven Good Hang podcast took home the recognition.

“Amy Poehler won. That’s no shock, right? They gave it to one of their own. Tracks. It’s because she has a really insightful podcast,” Kelly mocked, pointing to one interview between Gwyneth Paltrow and Poehler.

Kelly’s criticism of Ruffalo and Sykes followed their appearances at the awards ceremony, where both actors made pointed remarks reflecting the current political climate.

When asked about the accessory she wore to the event, Sykes quickly explained its significance. “Of course, this is for the mother who was murdered by an ICE agent… a really sad shooting that happened in Minnesota,” the “Black-ish” actress said, per The Blast.

The “Uglydolls” star added that she was speaking out not only as an actor but also as a mother and a citizen concerned about the state of the country. Ruffalo echoed a similar message, wearing the same lapel pin, which he said was meant to honor Good.

The Blast reported Ruffalo echoed a similar stance, wearing the same lapel as Sykes, which he said was to honor Good. He then went further, addressing broader issues such as the situation between the U.S. and Venezuela.

While Kelly has been vocal about Poehler’s recognition, the actress has expressed nothing but gratitude following her victory.

After accepting the trophy from Snoop Dogg, Poehler mixed humor with heartfelt thanks, joking that the moment was “exactly how I pictured it.”

During her speech, she thanked her boyfriend and playfully acknowledged being new to the category, while also expressing genuine admiration for her fellow nominees.

Poehler’s achievement also drew praise from Spotify’s Vice President and Global Head of Podcasts, Roman Wasenmuller, who applauded the actress and her team for their work.

“Amy with her team and The Ringer have created something truly special,” Wasenmüller said in a statement to People Magazine. He added, “This recognition celebrates the creativity, heart, and ambition behind their work.”

Before weighing in on the January 11 event, Kelly sparked controversy last month during a conversation with far-right activist Jack Posobiec at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest.

As The Blast previously reported amid an ongoing feud involving conspiracy claims between Erika Kirk and Candace Owens, Kelly revealed that she turned to Charlie Kirk for guidance.

“I’ve prayed so many times to Charlie, and to God, to give me the right guidance on how to handle this whole thing,” Kelly told Posobiec and the audience. Her comment earned her backlash with many MAGA supporters questioning her faith.
