The pair have fought incessantly on the popular reality series since season 3 premiered in 2011. Since then, the toxicity and broken relationships have driven the show to the point of no return.

In a new interview, Melissa Gorga discussed the possibility of repairing things with her sister-in-law and shared behind-the-scenes information about the status of their show.

Melissa Gorga Says ‘Never Say Never’ Regarding Relationship With Teresa Giudice

Longtime fans of “RHONJ” are familiar with the fractured relationship between Gorga and her sister-in-law, Giudice.

Their beef began during the first episode of season 3, and since then, it’s only gotten worse, resulting in salacious rumors, thrown drinks, and physical fights.

Tension between Giudice and Gorga reached an all-time high during season 13, though, when Gorga and her husband (Giudice’s biological brother), Joe Gorga, decided to skip Giudice’s fairytale wedding to Luis Ruelas.

Season 14 was no better, as it featured the cast of seven split in two due to Gorga and Giudice’s refusal to communicate with each other.

During an interview with Sherri Shepherd on her show, “Sherri,” Gorga initially told the actress that she didn’t see a way for their families to move forward, saying the “ship has sailed.”

However, she later revealed that there is a world in which the two reality stars can find a middle ground and bring their families back together.

“We’ll see,” she said. “We don’t know what’s to come. I never say never in life because I always find out that’s exactly what happens. So, we’ll see what’s next.”

Giudice has also recently discussed the status of her relationship with her brother and sister-in-law, and based on her comment, she doesn’t seem as optimistic.

When asked if she saw herself reconciling with the Gorgas during a previous interview, the Bravo OG said the break between them was a “permanent” one.

Giudice has been open about the betrayal she felt by her brother and sister-in-law in 2011 when they joined the hit television series behind her back, calling it very “hard” to deal with.

“I never signed up to be on a TV show with my family,” Giudice said. “I [got] bombarded and ambushed by my family. And it was very sad because I felt like my dream kind of got shattered.”

After season 14 of “RHONJ” wrapped production in August 2024, Andy Cohen and the network revealed they were pausing the series to freshen things up.

Due to the stalemate several of the show’s stars were in, there was no possible way to move forward with the current group, which featured Dolores Catania, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral, Jennifer Aydin, Margaret Josephs, Giudice, and Gorga. So, the ladies have sat still for several months waiting for direction from Bravo.

However, Gorga seems hopeful that things are moving along and that she’d be one of the chosen ones asked to return. When asked if there was a chance for her to come back, she said, “Of course,” before hinting that there should be news “sooner than later.”

Joe Giudice Thinks The Gorgas Are Hungry For Fame

Giudice isn’t the only “Jersey” cast member who has had issues with the Gorgas. Giudice’s ex-husband, Joe Giudice, also had his fair share of dramatic blowups with the couple.

Although he no longer films the series, he occasionally shares his thoughts about the tension that still exists between Giudice and Gorga, calling it “weird” before saying the Gorgas were envious of his ex-wife.

“I think, in all honesty, [Joe Gorga’s] wife … is so jealous of Teresa [Giudice],” he said. “And so is he.”

However, he didn’t finish there. Giudice also slammed the Gorgas for being “fame whores.”

Another “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star who has been in the headlines lately is Jennifer Aydin.

The outspoken television personality recently posted a TikTok video of herself getting into an altercation with an employee and a customer at an airport Jersey Mike’s restaurant.

According to Aydin, the service member and customers became agitated with her after she tried to modify her order after already placing it.

“Everything was slow … we get it. It’s early in the morning, you’re in a bad mood, it’s New Year’s — you’re working. I’d be pissed, too,” she said.

The Bravo star then told her followers that a customer behind her, whom she described as a “freakin jerk,” called her request to add another sandwich to her order “ridiculous.”

Aydin said the man threatened to sue her for her “fake diamonds” after noticing she was recording the exchange.

“Fake diamonds, b-tch? What you don’t know — you better ask somebody. Please.”

Fans blasted the reality star after listening to her comments, calling her “disrespectful” and “disgusting.”
