Green Bay Packers fourth-year wide receiver Jayden Reed suffered a scary injury in a road game against the New York Jets on Sunday.
On the second play of Green Bay’s opening drive, Reed caught a four-yard pass from quarterback Jordan Love, and linebacker Demario Davis tackled him. The WR didn’t get back up and was carted off the field on a stretcher. The entire Packers sideline came onto the field to watch the medical crew take Reed off.
Shortly after, the Packers shared that Reed had been ruled out with a neck injury.

This offseason, the Packers signed 2023 second-round pick Reed to a three-year, $50.25M deal, hoping he would continue to be a sparkplug for their passing attack. When healthy, the former Michigan State Spartans star has been an explosive playmaker for the NFC North squad.
