Savannah Chrisley has had a big week of personal announcements. The reality star recently revealed that she is engaged to businessman Jason Galanis and is expecting their first child together, publicly referring to him as her “forever adventure partner.” However, marriage records show the couple already tied the knot months ago. Now, Savannah has finally confirmed their marital status herself in a candid interview.
Savannah Chrisley Confirms Cayman Islands Wedding To Jason Galanis
Savannah Chrisley has plenty to be grateful for, sharing in an October 27 social media post that she found her “forever” partner and that they are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby. After the announcement, more details emerged about her relationship with Jason Galanis, including their secret wedding.
Now, Savannah has broken her silence about her relationship status, confirming for the first time that she and Galanis are, indeed, married.
On the debut episode of “The Golden Ticket,” Savannah told host Golden Tate why she kept the information from the public.
“I’m not public about anything. We ended up getting married in the Cayman Islands in July,” Savannah said, adding that they haven’t filed paperwork in the U.S. “because then it will be public record, right?”
The Reality Star Did Not Refer To Jason Galanis As Her Husband
In her double-reveal on social media and her podcast “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley,” the reality star referred to the father of her unborn child only as “J” or “Jason.”
She opened up about their love story, revealing how they met and recounting Galanis’ December 2025 proposal, roughly five months after they started dating.
Despite not sharing many details about her partner to “protect her peace,” media outlets uncovered his identity. Eagle-eyed viewers also noticed that Savannah wore what seemed to be a wedding band stacked underneath her massive diamond engagement ring, sparking rumors that they were already husband and wife.
Savannah Chrisley’s Secret Wedding Was Revealed Before She Confirmed It
On October 29, two days after Savannah’s announcement, PEOPLE obtained her marriage records, confirming the rumors that she and Galanis had already tied the knot.
According to the outlet, the couple married on July 14, 2026, at the Cayman Islands Baptist Church.
Savannah gushed about Galanis on her podcast, sharing that their romantic partnership has been a “dream relationship that any woman could hope to be in.”
With the secret wedding out of the bag, Savannah told Golden that they had been planning a wedding celebration in the U.S. scheduled for January 2027, but she had a “real-life wedding crasher,” referring to her unborn child, and pushed the wedding back to May instead.
Jason Galanis’ Connection With Todd Chrisley

More details emerged about Galanis in the days after Savannah’s announcement, including his connection to her father, Todd Chrisley.
As it turned out, both men served time at the same federal prison in Pensacola, Florida, but it isn’t known if they personally interacted. Moreover, President Donald Trump commuted both of their sentences.
Todd was found guilty of bank fraud, wire fraud, and tax evasion. His wife, Julie, was also convicted of the same charges, in addition to obstruction of justice. Todd was sentenced to seven years in prison in November 2022 and was released in May 2025.
Galanis, on the other hand, pleaded guilty to securities fraud schemes in 2020 and was sentenced to 189 months (15.75 years) in prison. He was incarcerated in New York until 2022, then transferred to Pensacola in January 2023. Galanis was released in March 2025.
Savannah Chrisley Doesn’t Care About The Online Noise

The revelation of Galanis’ identity sparked online backlash, with critics questioning the couple’s 27-year age gap and raising concerns about his criminal past.
Savannah said in her podcast that part of the reason why she kept her relationship private was that she knew how “brutal” the public can be. However, she noted, “I genuinely do not care.”
Furthermore, she penned a note to her unborn baby on Instagram Stories, writing, “You are worth it ALL! You are not a headline. You are not a controversy. You are not defined by anyone’s past, anyone’s mistakes, or anyone else’s opinions.”
