Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on Thursday held a briefing on the California fires from the White House.

Tens of thousands of acres have burned, more than 3,000 structures have been reduced to ashes after several fires broke out in Los Angeles and the greater LA area this week.

Pacific Palisades looks like a warzone thanks to Democrats like Governor Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass.

Most of the destruction could have been prevented if fire authorities cleared the underbrush and hydrants actually had water in them.

Joe Biden announced the federal government would pay California 100% of the disaster response for the next 6 months.

“Speaking from the White House during a briefing on the fires, the president said federal funding will cover things like removing debris, setting up temporary shelters, and paying first responders. Mr. Biden said he’s surging all federal resources possible to Southern California, including 400 federal firefighters and 30 federal firefighting planes, among other assets,” CBS News reported.

“I told the governor and local officials, spare no expense,” Biden said from the White House.

“The 100% disaster response coverage from the federal government for the next 180 days is an increase from the current 75% the president previously allotted, and more than the 90% Mr. Biden said California Gov. Gavin Newsom requested. The damage is expected to be one of the most expensive disasters in California history. Three fires are still raging, the president said, and 179,000 people have been forced to evacuate their homes,” CBS reported.

Joe Biden cracked a joke during the briefing.

“Fire away! No pun intended!” Biden said to Kamala Harris.

Even Kamala Harris was shocked. It took a couple of seconds for her to digest what Biden said.

On Wednesday Joe Biden cut off the fire briefing to talk about himself.

“My son lives out here and his wife and they got notification yesterday their home was probably burned to the ground. Today it appears it may be still standing but not sure,” Biden said.

“The good news is, I’m a great-grandfather as of today!” Biden said. “My eldest granddaughter had a 10 pound four once baby girl – – baby boy.”

“So I’ll remember this day for a lot longer,” he said.

Naomi Biden (Hunter’s daughter) gave birth in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Even Gavin Newsom was appalled by Biden’s selfish outburst.
