Taylor Swift Leaves Influencer ‘Mortified’ After Rejecting Her Card Game

Social media influencer Serena Kerrigan had a memorable encounter with Taylor Swift, but their conversation seemingly left her “mortified.”

Kerrigan said she tried to gift the “Blank Space” singer her “Let’s F-cking Date” card games, but the pop star politely declined, to her surprise.

Taylor Swift was spotted supporting boyfriend Travis Kelce at his Nashville training camp days after they stepped out for a cozy date night in New York City.

During an appearance on the latest episode of iHeartRadio’s “Casual Chaos” podcast with Gia Giudice, influencer Kerrigan narrated how she happened to be at the same restaurant with Swift, where she took the opportunity to gift the singer her “Let’s F-cking Date” card games.

“Recently, [I] went to a restaurant and I heard that Taylor Swift was there. And I was like, ‘I have to give her my card game,'” Kerrigan explained, per the Daily Mail.

“And so [my boyfriend] Felix [Levine] was at home, and he put my card game in an Uber package. I left the restaurant. Millions of paparazzi, fans, were already waiting outside,” she continued.

Kerrigan added, “So I was like, ‘OK, she’s here.’ I grabbed the card game and I’m sitting there. And we went to The Corner Store, eating everything, drinking everything, everyone’s filing out of the restaurant.”

Kerrigan’s encounter with Swift seemingly took place some time ago, as the singer was joined by her boyfriend, Kelce, along with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

As they all left the establishment, Kerrigan saw an opportunity to walk up to the 35-year-old singer and offered her the card game.

“I literally was like, ‘Hi, I’m such a fan. And I created this card game. I think you would really love it,'” she explained. “And she literally looked at it and she goes, ‘Oh, my God, thank you so much. But no, thank you. But thank you.'”

“Like, it was so sweet. I don’t think she could take it from me. … There could have been like poison. It looks like a cigarette,” Kerrigan said.

The influencer admitted to feeling “mortified” by being turned down but said that Swift’s reaction was “so sweet.”

The card game seems to have become somewhat of a memorabilia for the social media influencer who shared that she “kept the game” in hopes of meeting the Grammy winner again someday.

“I was like, ‘Oh my God, I put her in this position where she had to say no,'” Kerrigan narrated. “But then, I got over it because it’s such an iconic story for the plot. Who cares that she said no?”

She added, “And by the way, I kept the game that she rejected.”

 Despite the initial embarrassment, Kerrigan welcomed the humor in the situation, going on to express hope for a less mortifying encounter.

“I was so scared. Even afterward, I obviously felt about, like, ‘Oh my god, rejection,'” Kerrigan shared. “But I was like, ‘Wait, this was literally so sick.’ And like, we interacted. You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take. I’m so glad that I did it.”

Kerrigan shared the video of her trying to hand the package to Swift on Instagram last month.

“Gotta shoot my shot,” she captioned the post.

Meanwhile, it’s unlikely Swift and Lively would be going on another restaurant date anytime soon, as their relationship has seemingly been strained following revelations from the actress’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

In court documents, Baldoni alleged that Lively, in a bid to take control over their “It Ends With Us” movie, likened herself to “Game of Thrones” character Khaleesi, and also referred to Swift and Reynolds as her “dragons.”

According to People Magazine, a source explained that their relationship hit an all-time low and has “halted,” as Swift attempts to keep her distance from the “Gossip Girl” star.

“Their friendship has halted,” a source said. “Taylor wants no part in this drama.”
