Happy 60th birthday to eight-time Pro Bowler, two-time First-Team All-Pro selection, 1999 Walter Payton Man of the Year and Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2013, Cris Carter!
After being selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth-round of the 1987 NFL Supplemental Draft, Carter played three seasons in Philly before moving to the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota is where Carter established himself as a hall of famer, leading the NFL in receiving touchdowns in three seasons and total receptions in 1994.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Carter retired after the 2002 season with 1,101 catches for 13,899 yards and 130 touchdowns in his 16-year career. With that being said, can you name the league leaders in touchdown catches in every season since the NFL/AFL merger (1970)?
