Winners and losers from NFL Week 2

With most of the NFL’s Week 2 schedule in the books, it is time to take a look at some of the biggest winners and losers from Sunday’s action. The Indianapolis Colts are 2-0 thanks to a huge game from Jonathan Taylor, while the day was defined by special teams blunders across games.

    NFL Week 2 Winners

Jared Goff, QB, Detroit Lions. If you were concerned about the Lions after their Week 1 performance against the Green Bay Packers, you might want to ease them. The Lions scored 52 points against Chicago on Sunday, led by a five-touchdown effort from Goff, with three of them going to Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Brandon Aubrey, K, Dallas Cowboys. A lot of people played well in Dallas, including quarterback Dak Prescott and bounce-back games from wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. But Aubrey is the star of this game with a 64-yard field goal as time expires to send it to overtime, and then the overtime winner. The best long-distance kicker in the sport.
