Zendaya ‘Ready To Spend Her Life’ With Fiancé Tom Holland

Zendaya is reportedly “ready to spend her life” by her beau Tom Holland‘s side, and eagerly looks forward to starting a family with the actor.

She caused quite a stir at the recently held Golden Globe Awards as she was spotted rocking what was speculated to be an engagement ring estimated to cost about $500,000.

However, it has since been confirmed that Zendaya and Tom Holland are engaged, as he proposed sometime during the holidays.

Following their whirlwind romance after meeting on the set of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” in 2017, sources close to the pair revealed that they’re ready to take their relationship to the next level and would consider “starting a family” once they get married.

Reports suggest Holland has already proposed to Zendaya, with the insider telling the Daily Mail that he took the “old-fashioned” approach and got permission from her family before asking her to marry him.

“The proposal was sweet and romantic and happened over the holidays,” the insider shared. “He did it the old-fashioned way and got permission from her folks. Everyone is thrilled.”

The source continued, “They are the most normal couple at home, and she is ready to spend her life with him. She has gotten everything she dreamed of and marrying Tom and starting a family is next on her list.”

It comes after the “Euphoria” star set tongues wagging as she rocked an engagement ring at the Golden Globes Award ceremony in L.A. on Sunday.

For the event, she wore a burnt tangerine Louis Vuitton gown and a new bob hairstyle, but it was the sparkling piece of jewelry, estimated to cost around $500,000, that caught the attention of many.

Speaking about Zendaya’s decision to reveal the ring at the star-studded award ceremony, the source told the news outlet that the actress “knew what she was doing when she wore that ring, and she did not care.”

They continued, “She also knew that this would get out there, but she was ready for it. She loves Tom and he has been with her through thick and thin. They have a unique private romance and although they may seem very opposite, nothing could be further from the truth.”

Meanwhile, Zendaya was reportedly shaken when she realized that Holland was proposing to her.

“Tom and Zendaya had discussed marriage over the years, but Zendaya had no idea he was planning to propose,” an insider told Page Six. “They both value their privacy, so the proposal was something Tom wanted to keep private as well.”

“Tom and Zendaya’s families are ecstatic,” the insider continued. “Zendaya’s mom and sisters can’t wait to start planning with her.”

Over the years, the couple has managed to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, with Holland sharing that it was so because their bond is one thing he “keeps most sacred.”

The insider noted that “there is no wedding date or plans set yet” because “It’s far too soon to start thinking about any of that yet. They’re still celebrating the exciting news.”

Zendaya and Holland are so dedicated to growing a family that they would seemingly forego hiring a nanny in favor of a more hands-on approach to parenting.

In a conversation with Men’s Health Magazine, Holland spoke about his intention to quit acting and become a stay-at-home dad once they start having kids.

He seemingly confirmed that he would be committed to being actively involved in every aspect of their children’s lives and would occasionally indulge in sports.

“When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore,” he told the news outlet. “Golf and dad – and I will just disappear off the face of the earth.”

The source who spoke to the Daily Mail also revealed that the pair “do not want to be the couple who has nannies and babysitters taking care of their children.”

“One of them will always be there with their children when they do have kids,” the insider said. “They want to have the traditional family, and they currently do not have a team at home. It is just them and this is how they prefer it.”

In 2023, Holland candidly discussed his relationship with Zendaya during a conversation on the “Smartless” podcast.

The Marvel star revealed he feels “lucky” to be with the “Dune” star and that their romance is “worth its weight in gold.”

Holland let his emotions shine as he discussed his bond with Zendaya in the interview.

“I’m lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life,” Holland confessed. “It’s interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you.”

He added, “You can share your experiences and all that sort of stuff, and that’s worth its weight in gold.”
