Chandler Smith decimated the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series field on Saturday, winning the the FaithFest 250 at North Wilkesboro Speedway after leading 105 of 250 laps.
The victory is Smith’s second straight at North Wilkesboro, his second of 2026 and the ninth of his Truck Series career in his 102nd start. It’s also the sixth of the season for Front Row Motorsports. Smith led only the final lap at Wilkesboro in 2025 en route to victory, but that was far from the case on Saturday.
“God’s good in the mountains, but man he’s good in the valleys, too,” Smith told Fox Sports. “We’ve been in the valleys the past few weeks. [We’ve] had good speed, not good finishes.”
Smith’s margin of victory of 8.479 seconds is the largest in Truck Series history on a short track.
