Jaden Ivey, the No. 5 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, has been released by the Chicago Bulls.

Ivey has posted several videos in recent weeks discussing religion and other various topics. On Monday, he posted a video that called out the NBA for taking part in Pride Month.

“They proclaim Pride Month in the NBA. They show it to the world,” Ivey said. “They say, ‘Come join us for Pride Month’ to celebrate unrighteousness. They proclaim it on the billboards. They proclaim it in the streets. Unrighteousness.”

On Monday afternoon, the Bulls released Ivey for conduct detrimental to the team.

Ivey, 24, has played in only four games this season due to a knee injury. He has admitted in the past to struggling with depression.
