Three cheers for Community Assisted Response and Engagement Chief Amy Barden for highlighting how the Seattle Police Officers Guild interferes with Seattle’s crisis services. It’s cruel and wasteful and all for the narrow benefit of one particular union, SPOG. Shameful.
Let’s hope Mayor Katie Wilson can do something to fully implement the CARE program as designed and funded.
