Founding Fathers: Where are today’s leaders with integrity?

Re: “Founders feared men like Trump” (Dec. 1, Opinion):

LZ Granderson’s column hit the nail on the head. Our founders had an aspirational dream, but it hinged on the assumption that voters would elect leaders with integrity. None of our presidents have been perfect, but the current one is the biggest threat to “the great experiment” ever elected.

Unless more of his enablers call upon their own integrity and stand up against his excesses, we’ll be eulogizing our democracy on July 4, 2026, rather than celebrating its 250th anniversary.
