    Iran: Terrifying times | The Seattle Times

    How is it possible that, in our democracy, one man driven by hate, insecurities and retribution can start a war on the other side of the globe against a country he does not like?

    Granted, Iran is a theocracy many Iranians do not support. However, what right do we have to destroy its nuclear production sites? Why not bomb North Korea’s nuclear facilities, too? Or Russia’s?

    Doesn’t Article 1, Section 8, of the U.S. Constitution give only Congress the power to declare war? What a terrifying “Golden Age” we are living in.
