Stassi Schroeder’s holiday festivities took an unexpected—and slightly bloody—turn during a playful sing-along with her daughter, Hartford.

The “Vanderpump Rules“ alum found herself on the receiving end of a broomstick accident while performing a lively rendition of “Wicked”‘s iconic song, “Defying Gravity.”

On December 27, Stassi Schroeder’s husband, Beau Clark, shared the chaotic yet endearing moment on Instagram.

The video captures 3-year-old Hartford enthusiastically belting out the Broadway classic while wielding a broom as a makeshift prop. Stassi, leaning down to share the spotlight with her little performer, found herself abruptly smacked in the face when Hartford’s broom swung a little too close for comfort.

The accident sparked an immediate reaction from Hartford, who gasped and quickly asked, “Are you okay?” The concerned toddler didn’t waste a second before running off to grab a napkin in an adorable attempt to help her mom. Meanwhile, Schroeder, though visibly stunned, managed to laugh off the moment despite a noticeable line of blood trickling from her chin.

In classic Beau Clark fashion, the dad of two couldn’t resist lightening the mood. After confirming his wife was okay, he quipped, “Did you not feel it ’cause of your fake chin?” referring to Stassi’s 2019 chin implant. Schroeder has previously spoken candidly about the procedure, calling it “one of the best things I ever did.”

As blood streamed down her face, Stassi turned to Clark and the camera, asking with mock disbelief, “What do I look like? Is it really that bad?” Clark’s gasp in response said it all. The moment was made even sweeter when Hartford returned, gently pressing a cloth to her mom’s face while sincerely apologizing. “I’m so sorry,” she said softly, to which Stassi reassuringly replied, “It’s okay. It was an accident.”

The musical chaos played on in the background, adding to the theatrical vibe of the moment. Clark later captioned the post with a cheeky nod to the incident: “Christmas was bloody Wicked this year!”

In the comments, Schroeder offered her own lighthearted take, revealing, “That side of my chin has always been numb ever since the chin implant lol.”

Despite the numbness, Stassi confirmed the hit did indeed hurt, but the family managed to turn what could have been a tearful accident into a laugh-out-loud holiday memory.

    Stassi Celebrates Messer’s First Birthday

Stassi’s eventful holiday mishap comes just a few months after the family marked another special occasion: Messer’s first birthday celebration.

“My angel baby boy is 1 today and I’m not well,” she shared in a September Instagram post. “Real talk I don’t know how I got so lucky with this kid. He’s filled my heart in a way I never could’ve imagined. He’s so happy, loving, inquisitive, a tad demanding. He wants your full attention always. Loves to dance, loves to figure out how things work, loves people, loves to laugh. I know I’m biased, but he’s pretty close to perfection.”

Stassi Schroeder rose to fame as one of the original cast members of “Vanderpump Rules,” which premiered in 2013 and chronicled the lives of staff at Lisa Vanderpump’s West Hollywood restaurant, SUR.

Known for her sharp wit, unapologetic opinions, and memorable one-liners, Stassi quickly became a standout personality on the show. Although she briefly departed after Season 3, she made a return in Season 5.

Then, in 2020, Stassi Schroeder was fired from “Vanderpump Rules” after resurfaced allegations of racially insensitive behavior toward her former castmate, Faith Stowers. In response, Stassi issued a public apology and has since spoken openly about her commitment to educating herself and growing from the experience. Moving forward, she has focused on her podcasting career, expanded her writing endeavors, and worked on building her personal brand beyond the realm of reality television.

Beyond reality TV, Stassi found success as the host of her popular podcast, “Straight Up with Stassi,” where she discussed pop culture, relationships, and personal stories. Following her departure from “Vanderpump Rules,” she rebranded the podcast to “The Good The Bad The Baby,” co-hosting it alongside her husband, Beau Clark.
