I want the Seattle Seahawks to stay in Seattle and to continue to be managed in the grounded, wise way that Jody Allen has demonstrated since the passing of Paul Allen.
Ownership of the team shared by three of the most effective philanthropists in the world, namely Jody Allen, MacKenzie Scott and Melinda French Gates, would memorialize the power and compassion of women of the Pacific Northwest. The purchase price could be dedicated to building affordable housing and homeless shelters. Proceeds from the games could be further allocated to charitable causes. The Seahawks deserve wise women wielding power responsibly.
It is my Lunar New Year wish.
