SNAP benefits: Where are the corporate benefactors?

Re: “SNAP benefits to run out in a week if federal budget standoff isn’t resolved” and “Seattle-area companies help fund Trump’s White House ballroom” (Oct. 24, A1):

American food banks are stretched thin of resources due to significant cuts in funding and federal jobs made by the Trump administration. The U.S. Department of Agriculture now threatens to withhold contingency funds for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits beginning Nov. 1.

Perhaps Microsoft, T-Mobile and Amazon can extend the largesse they donated to the White House ballroom to support our local food banks.
