Tom Brady Reportedly Open To Marriage After Divorce From Gisele Bündchen

Reports suggest the former athlete has moved on from their split and is “casually” dating again.

This comes after Gisele Bündchen welcomed a baby with her boyfriend Joaquim Valente, with Tom Brady believed to have congratulated her on her delivery.

Brady appears to have returned to the dating scene, albeit “casually,” after going through a divorce from Bündchen.

The former couple was married for 13 years and shared two children, son Benjamin and daughter Vivian, before announcing their split in October 2022. Brady also shares 17-year-old son Jack with his former love, Bridget Moynahan.

A source told Entertainment Tonight that the former NFL star “is doing great and focused on everything he has going on,” which includes work, his three kids, and his love life.

“He’s been casually dating,” the insider said, according to an Instagram post shared Monday on the news outlet’s page. “Tom is not completely closed off to the idea of getting married again but isn’t sure what the future holds.”

Bündchen recently expanded her family after welcoming baby No.3 child with her boyfriend, Valente.

According to the insider, Brady “has congratulated” his supermodel ex-wife.

According to Page Six, Brady recently rekindled his past romance with supermodel Irina Shayk. The pair first sparked romance rumors in 2023, but their relationship has been more on-again and off-again.

“Tom and Irina have started dating each other again and are open to see where things go,” a source said.

After less than four months of dating, the Super Bowl winner and the supermodel called it quits back in October 2023.

According to the news outlet, one source even claimed they were planning a New Year’s Day trip.

“They’ve been talking on the phone,” the insider said. “Neither one is in a serious relationship right now, so why not take a trip.”

Shayk previously dated Bradley Cooper, with whom she shares a daughter.

A source previously told the Daily Mail that Brady struggled to date as he moved on from the “sting” of Bündchen’s romance with Valente.

Last year when news of Bündchen’s pregnancy first surfaced, the NFL legend was said to be “shocked” by the reports as he never imagined they’d be having a child together even though he knew things were serious between them.

Bündchen reportedly broke the news to him herself shortly after telling their kids, as she wanted him to hear it from her rather than the media.

“Tom would love to date more, but he is busy and very focused on his first year of being a commentator. It is easier to be single right now,” a source said.

They continued, “At first, everything stings. Her getting pregnant, her hanging out with Joaquim, her moving on. But then he snaps out of it and remains busy, knows that his life is pretty good and to worry about things he can’t control is a waste of time.”

The insider added, “He could complain but what’s the point [?] He got the best out of the relationship with Gisele until it fell apart, now it’s not his problem anymore. He will be fine.”

Meanwhile, Brady’s ex-wife is said to be relishing her new chapter with her boyfriend, Valente.

A source told Page Six that she’s “loving” her new romance with the jiujitsu trainer after feeling like she “lived in Tom Brady’s shadow.”

Bündchen and Brady married in February 2009 before divorcing in 2022, after which she flaunted her romance with Valente.

A source told the news outlet that she feels “freer” since she started dating him and is “absolutely loving this new chapter” after feeling overshadowed by the NFL legend “for a long time.”

The Brazilian model is “grateful for what she had” with the former New England Patriots quarterback and feels “blessed” for their two children, son Benjamin and daughter Vivian.

While Brady seemingly adjusts to the dating scene, Bündchen is enjoying her love life.

Earlier this year, a source told People Magazine that the former Victoria’s Secret angel is “truly thriving” in her relationship with Valente.

At the time, Bündchen and Valente were understood to be opting for a home birth, although it remains unclear if they eventually pushed through with the plans.

According to the insider, Bündchen is the “happiest she’s ever been,” especially as she waited to give birth to her first child with Valente.

“Gisele’s doing great,” the source said. “She seems the happiest she’s ever been. She’s truly thriving.”
