Morgan Wallen caused a stir during the closing moments of “Saturday Night Live” after unexpectedly walking off stage at the end of the show, after he served as the musical guest.

As the credits began to roll, Morgan Wallen was seen briefly exchanging words with host Mikey Madison and giving her a casual one-armed hug before heading straight for the exit, leaving the rest of the cast behind to celebrate the episode’s close.

The move didn’t go unnoticed by viewers, many of whom took to social media to point out that his departure broke from “SNL” tradition. Typically, the musical guest sticks around to join the host and cast on stage during the goodbyes.

Instead, Wallen appeared ready to make his exit, prompting fans to question the vibe of the moment.

“Morgan Wallen’s racist a– immediately walking offstage during the credits,” one user expressed. “Oh, I know the cast hated him.”

“Morgan Wallen walking off before the ‘SNL’ credits were even over,” another wrote. “Yeah, there’s a special place in h-ll for that man.”

A third wrote, “Morgan Wallen said I didn’t want to be here either. That’s exactly what the show gets for having him in the first place.”

Another called him a “prick a– b-tch,” after seeing the country music star walk off stage.

Wallen’s Post-Show Jet Photo Sparks Speculation After Awkward Exit

Adding fuel to the fire, Wallen later posted to his Instagram Stories after the show, a photo of a private jet with the caption, “Get me to God’s country.”

The post only amplified questions about whether his exit had been intentional or a pointed statement.

However, according to a source close to Wallen, the moment was nothing more than a simple misstep. Per TMZ, the insider explained that Wallen had exited the stage in the same way during rehearsals and camera blocking throughout the week and that his early departure was a case of muscle memory, not malice.

Morgan Wallen’s history with “Saturday Night Live” has been a rocky one.

Back in October 2020, he was removed as a scheduled musical guest after videos surfaced of him partying in Alabama without a mask and kissing multiple women in violation of COVID-19 protocols.

He later acknowledged his “short-sighted” actions but returned to the show just two months later.

As previously reported by The Blast, the country music star was taken into custody by the Metro Nashville Police Department early Monday, April 8, after allegedly throwing a chair from the sixth floor of Chief’s, the newly opened honky tonk owned by fellow country artist Eric Church.

Wallen faced three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. His attorney, Worrick Robinson, issued a statement confirming the arrest:

“At 10:53 p.m. on Sunday evening, Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is fully cooperating with authorities.”

“I didn’t feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks,” he wrote. “I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility.”

He continued, “I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe. Regarding my tour, there will be no change.”

This marked Wallen’s second public run-in with the law.

Back in 2020, he was arrested for disorderly conduct, adding to a growing list of offstage controversies. Despite these incidents, Wallen remains one of the most prominent figures in country music.
