Sofia Richie And Husband Elliot Grainge Address Cheating Claims

The youngest daughter of the iconic singer Lionel Richie assured fans that her marriage to the CEO of Atlantic Music Group won’t be broken over unfounded claims.

The couple became the internet’s latest topic after sources alleged Elliot Grainge had cheated on her. The infidelity speculations caused an outpouring of mean comments that Sofia Richie and her husband reacted to in a hilarious TikTok video.

Richie proved there were no cracks in her longtime bond with Grainge by filming their unbothered reactions to the cheating drama. The video captured the couple in bed, with the CEO lying down as he read fan comments about his alleged infidelity while his wife filmed him.

The model, seated by his side, could barely contain her laughter as Grainge read the criticisms out loud. Many advised her to leave her husband and clean his bank accounts in their divorce settlement. Meanwhile, others slammed the record executive for allegedly cheating on a woman above his standards.

“That? Cheating on her?” a commenter wrote, causing Grainge to exclaim: “What am I, Shrek?” as Richie burst into another fit of laughter. She clearly found the entire situation hilarious, while Grainge could not believe how quickly the public turned its back on him.

“I had to break it to my husband that he’s not the people’s princess,” Richie captioned the post.

Richie’s reaction video received hundreds of comments from fans who supported her fun way of dispelling the cheating claims. These admirers claimed they never doubted the record executive’s love for her, with someone writing: “ELLIOT YOU ARE OUR PRINCESS STAWP DONT LISTEN TO THEM.”

The cheating drama comes nearly a year after The Blast reported that Richie had addressed her birthing challenges last October. She got candid about the difficulties she faced before welcoming her first child with Grainge in a discussion with her celebrity OBGYN, Dr. Thais Aliabadi.

Richie revealed that the road to birthing her daughter was smooth until she hit 32 weeks and began experiencing back pain and cramps. She sent a text to Dr. Aliabadi, who advised her to see a fetal specialist to ensure there were no problems with the baby.

However, a quick scan revealed Richie was in active labor and needed to be closely monitored at the hospital. She ended up spending six weeks dealing with contractions until she finally went into labor at 38 weeks and had a “fantastic delivery.”

Although Dr. Aliabadi applauded Richie for enduring six weeks of contractions without complaints, her problems did not end there. The “Endless Love” hitmaker’s daughter faced another challenge two days after welcoming her baby girl.

The doctor sent a nurse to take Richie’s blood pressure after she returned home and began swelling. The results revealed her BP was 165 over 103, which the OBGYN noted was caused by a condition known as “postpartum preeclampsia.”

He described the disease as a “rare condition that occurs when you have high blood pressure and excess protein in your urine soon after childbirth.”

Despite the pain she was in, Richie claimed it was nothing compared to leaving her newborn daughter. “It was horrendous. I actually hid in the closet and cried,” she recalled.
